In topic links, the number after the dot (430980 in the link you provided) is the reply number, which is equal to (page number minus 1) times 20. Thus, page 1 of that thread is https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wall-observer-btcusd-bitcoin-price-movement-tracking-discussion-178336, page 2 is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.20, etc.

For reference, 1 December 2017 UTC in that thread starts on page 18483 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.369640).

Correct! Thanks both, didn't pay attention to the number on the URL link, works perfectly this way.

Use the search button under that thread just use the keyword term if what exactly you are looking for on that page.

Use the "2017" key terms under the search button or use the advance search option and put the title of the thread including the "on December 10, 2017" key term.

Sample this one:

Code:
"on December 10, 2017" Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion

Now I found the december 2017 page as sample below.

It's doable through scripts but the best solution is to wait until the new forum software arrives, which is another question left to be answered.

Hi dear admin or anyone taking care of this.

It would be fun to go back to December 2017 on this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.430980 but going through the pages takes ages to find the right period.

Is there any way to add a [find page number X] function on this thread?

Any help greatly appreciated!  Kiss
