The Lost Key Recovery System has been proposed for deployment to the EOS Mainnet.

The final step for the Lost Key Solution has been proposed on-chain. This final step will deploy the Lost Key Solution smart contract to the eosio.lost account created for this purpose. Once deployed, genesis account holders have until April 20, 2020 to request an account recovery by signing a transaction with the Ethereum key paired to that account.

Accounts must be unused and hold less than 100k EOS to qualify for an automated key swap.
To be classified as an unused account you must have these 3 requirements:
 1. Needs to be a genesis account
 2. Can't have ever authorized a transaction
 3. Must have access to the Ethereum key that was linked to the account pre-mainnet launch.

The Lost Key Recovery System was developed by
 - Michael Yeates (eosDAC)
 - Rohan Abraham (EOS Authority)
 - Kadar Iyer (LibertyBlock)
 - Daniel Keyes (EOS Nation)

A Release Candidate is Available for EOSIO

“This release candidate marks a major update for the EOSIO software platform: a consensus protocol upgrade, which implements a change to the protocol rules and requires alignment by block producing nodes for the upgrade to be successfully deployed.”

Features:
- Enable protocol feature pre-activation
- Disallow linking to non-existing permission
- Allow contracts to determine which account is the sender of an inline action
- Modify restrictions on RAM billing
…and more

The final step for REX deployment proposed on-chain.

The EOS Authority team finally proposed on-chain the final step for REX deployment. The proposal is being currently voted by BPs and hopefully it will soon pass and load the REX smart contract on the EOS mainnet.

"REX is a CPU and Network resource rental market. Blockchain users can rent CPU and Network resources from the REX pool. The duration of each loan is 30 days and its price is determined by an automated market maker".

REX deployment is a three step process:
 1. Create the eosio.rex account (done)
 2. Update eosio.token contract (done)
 3. Load the REX smart contract (proposed)

Did Dan really leave the EOS project already?

Is he moving on to something new?
I really doubt. I do not video official statements or confirmations. I do not think that now he decided to leave the project. The EOS has excellent prospects for development.
i heard that Dan leave this project and move on another new project a month ago but no official confirmations on this news or any link that proves that it is right news. well EOS is doing good and progress is going on hopefully that EOS will make it. price of EOS is moving with the market ups and downs so not to worry for EOS holders

EOS Mainnet Extensions, new EOSIO enhancement proposal.

Some members of EOS Canada recently proposed a model sidechain model: EOS Mainnet Extension Chains. EOS Mainnet Extensions are side-chains of the EOS Mainnet which share user accounts with the Mainnet by means of an account-synchronizing Oracle. Through this solution it will be possible to scale horizontally the mainnet, allowing greater flexibility of resources and maintaining the same user base.

Key Aspects of this Proposal
 1. it is impossible to create an account on the Extension chain
 2. all account creations are done by synchronizing accounts existing on the EOS Mainnet (including changes in authority)
 3. resources would be managed by the BPs of the Extension network
 4. these BPs merely operate the network
 5. the Extension network does not have its own token, and BPs are paid directly on the EOS Mainnet through a corresponding contract.
 6. each chain Extension is free to experiment with governance, and the provided services

Lost key solution proposed on-chain.

eosDAC recently proposed on-chain the Lost Key Solution developed by EOS Authority, eosDAC, Libertyblock, EOS Nation and Cryptolions. Through this Lost Key Solution, users who have an account on the EOS mainnet since the launch of the EOS mainnet but haven't been able to use them as they lost the EOS private key will be allowed gain access on their account.

To be classified as an unused account you must have these 3 requirements:
 1. Needs to be a genesis account
 2. Can't have ever authorized a transaction
 3. Must have access to the Ethereum key that was linked to the account pre-mainnet launch.

As of April 4, there were 97,205 of these unused genesis accounts containing a combined 89.68 million EOS. The proposal has already been approved by 6 BPS, and 9 more are need for the proposal to pass.

Equilibrium framework and EOSDT, the world’s first decentralized EOS-based stablecoin.

Recently the Equilibrium infrastracture and EOSDT has been announced. Equilibrium is a feature-rich framework of smart contracts that generate the EOSDT stablecoin. EOSDT is the world’s first decentralized stablecoin on the EOS blockchain, pegged to the U.S. dollar and backed by a user’s own crypto holdings. Currently they only accept EOS, but they aim to create the basis for asset-backed stablecoins across multiple blockchains that support smart contracts.

"We chose to start with the EOS blockchain and EOSIO technology because it is faster than Ethereum, has near-zero transaction fees, and boasts an infrastructure robust enough to offer a high-quality experience to lots of users at once. [...] EOS is our first choice because it offers great infrastructure prospects with the implementation of cross-chain solutions and support for multiple forms of collateral for the EOSDT stablecoin."

Eos Weekly - War of Opposing Resource Models.

EOS Weekly published a new video on Youtube. The video explain listeners how the fee-less EOS model works, and how leasing platforms, such as REX and Chintai can enhance its usability.

"There are major developments underway with regards to EOS leasing platforms.  REX is in it's final stages of deployment, and Chintai is going through a major expansion with its ability to lease everything.  In this episode, we compare the opposing types of resource models used by 3rd gen blockchains, and we show how leasing plays a central role in giving EOS an advantage over the competition."

At least you have made money on EOS while it was on $20 so you don't need asking about dan larimer quit or not from the developer of team, you just need watching how much the projects which be built on the EOS blockchain day by day.
I expect to see the rapid growth of the EOS. Now a lot of projects are being released on this blockchain. This is the only project that has a technological advantage over Ethereum.
Yes there are many projects be built on EOS blockchain and i have found an article of it here https://www.bitcoinmarketjournal.com/eos-dapps/ the other reason because the EOS blockchain is faster than another blockchain EOS blockchain is number one we can check on here https://blocktivity.info/

The fact that there was Bitshares and then Steem. How do I know there will be another blockchain platform after EOS? I assume no one knows for sure and will just make sense of events as they happen.

This is the the question we must ask.

Who knows Dan larimer quit the team again and make new platform ? He loves make new ico and gain easy money...

What happaned if he quit the EOS ?

if i can trust him not to quit eos , i will hold it 2-3 years. But i cant ...

so i am going to sell all my eos when the see 20$

What proofs that he made money when EOS was on 20$? Thinking about what he had said (holding for 2-3 years and quit when the price will be 20$), it seems that valek55 bought EOS when the price was 20$, not he is in a loss and will sell this coin when the price will be back.
No i don't have any proof that he has made money when EOS was on $20, should he tell us about his proot, i don't know if he bought EOS on $20.

Where can I download a wallet, give the link please?
https://get-scatter.com
This wallet can interact with Ledger Nano S?
No, scatter is just for EOS wallet and it can be used for vote block producers, maybe in the future the developer team of scatter will apply for hardware wallet.
Thanks. I need an EOS wallet that interacts with Ledger Nano S.
Is there such a wallet?
Well actually i don't have any experience with interacting EOS wallet and ledger nano S, but i have found interesting article related with it, you can read and learning more carefully on here https://medium.com/eos-new-york/setting-up-your-ledger-hardware-wallet-on-eos-b66b2bee5257 hopefully it will help you, but becarefull when do it, i don't responsible if there is something bad when use it. I just try to help the community of EOS on here, good luck.
Thanks, it just the fact that it is necessary for me.

That's good and here is additional information related with the EOS blockchain technology from the developer of team enjoy it.

Block. One proposed a new solution to move beyond passwords problems: the concept of "passes" and the digital "Pass Manager". A Pass is a conceptual abstraction that encapsulates credential info (keys). Through Passes and Pass Managers, users can easily prove their identity just like the physical analog of pass cards.

"The user simply arrives at a service (whether it is a web app, a native app, a point of sale system, or a kiosk), and presents a pass to sign in or authorize an action. This is like a college student using their College ID to gain admission to a collegiate sports event".

What is necessary to make Pass Managers successful?
 - Interoperability
 - Portability
 - Usability
 - Safety
