There will be a meeting or presentation in South Korea on 13/1 at 9:00 GMT. Perhaps that caused the spike?

I already registered my ETH add with public EOS key. If i contribute with more ether now, will I have to go all through this again? Will I also have to claim the tokens again and register eth add with public EOS key?

Hey boys; quick question. If I have eos on an exchange. How long do I have to register my eos on their main net?

So I've refrained from buying into EOS because they are just an ERC-20 token at the moment and have this strange super long ICO thing going on.  Any idea when they are going to launch their actual network?  Right now I don't see why this is accumulating value.

so to get this straight, EOS raised money using ETH smart contract (ICO), but will soon introduce their own blockchain (developed with this money) and send you EOS coins?

Lol, you obviously don't know Dan very well if you think he had a low IQ.And is this a proven fact.
Yes dan larimer is smart man, he is founder of bitshare and steemit, dan larimer has large of experience in digital coins and he has large of knowledge of blockchain. And right now many the projects of decentralize application dapps start be built on EOS platform, one of the project is  the Insights Network ICO, They are first ones building on EOS. Will be huge. #1 ICO this year https://insights.network/ but i don't recommend to investment into there however it is still beta, i just share about new information related with EOS.

sorry for the noob question. what is the difference between buying eos on binance and the token distribution?

Its more of the same. However there are more options if you will buy on binance because you can use BTC or USDT.

and dont forget to register your wallet before ICO ends.

I read the whitepaper and don't really understand what value it has. I heard that bitshares blockchain is much better than most blockchains. I have been looking into it more and I find it to be a very attractive crypto. I did not know it had such a large community , but now come to think of it I do like what I see

What is actually the distinguishing features between EOS and Ether? What is EOS advantage over Ethereum? I'm just thinking around because of the recent rally around EOS that has impacted on its value.

EOS and Ethereum in many ways is like Windows vs Mac. They are taking very different approaches to the same problem. I support both projects, I believe some of EOS's scaling solutions look really interesting and I suspect that the platforms will appear to different projects for different reasons.

Ethereum is a program that is run on a system, where is EOS is an OS

Will EOS support different programming languages? Like Java, c+, c++, python, & all kinds of languages? Or just a few?

EOS will support any language that compiles in WebAssembly (WASM). Currently that is C++ and Rust. As WASM continues to grow and provide support for other languages, EOS too will have support for said languages.

sorry for the noob question. what is the difference between buying eos on binance and the token distribution?

No difference really. Sometimes you get EOS at a discount at the token distribution if not a lot of people participate but you won't know until it's done for that day. A lot of people participate at the very end so at first it might seem cheap but then it evens out at the end of the day.

Anyone got any updates as to where ETH is with their scaling? They’ve mentioned plasma and sharding but is this still a long way off?
