EOS put up almost in second place in the ranking of the best projects, but I do not see such great prospects as the rest. Mainly when they carried out ICOs, they lied to all people by reinvesting their ethers into each pool, in fact, much less was collected.

Although many investors have invested huge money in this asset and continue to invest, so the project can speculatively start to develop very strongly.
in the last 24 hours bearish move eos hit hard with panic sell and its price is again below from 2.5%
if this continues then the price could go under 2$ again.
last time eos price touched 1.59$ as coinmarketcap eos chart showing.
i hope this time eos price will not touch its bottom again but if price goes down continuously then price may go down from 1.5$

It should touch such price again to let us new holders buy for the 2nd chance. Its one way for EOS to get more holders on board. Let the ones who just want to collect airdrops from the new projects get into EOS too. I bought some when it touches $8 lol  Now that its much cheaper, its got to be a good investment.

Is there anyway to create EOS account for free or should I pay the fee for account creator services?

eos is still #1 in scalability?  or am i wrong?

EOS is achieving higher transactions per second throughput compared to other blockchains because they have sacrificed decentralization. Allegedly, Bitshares is claiming that their blockchain could perform 100k tps per second.
decentralization is everything. without decentralization crypto purpose is dead
eos should not be sacrificed decentralization.
Bitshares blockchain can do 100k TPS but if it comes with decentralization then it will take lead on EOS for sure
there are not only bitshares project in the market with that speed of transaction many other exist
eth network also making upgrades this competition could be very tough for EOS

EOS is still a speculative investment as it hasn't been fully developed yet. To over throw ethereum it has to be deployed quickly before they sort out the scaling problem. 2019 will be a neck and neck race between EOS and Cardano

how many projects are there on eos dapps?  anyone know or there is some website to see?

I think that more or less is 5%... correct?

I have been watching the project for almost a year and understand that they are trying to repeat the success of Ethereum, only in Chinese realities. How much they will succeed - I do not know, but the fact that they know what mistakes should not be allowed - that's for sure.

I think eos is still on early stage and if we give more time to it then it will definitely outperform people expectation in a long run as many ones know what they holding.

EOS.IO is software that introduces a blockchain architecture designed to enable vertical and horizontal scaling of decentralized applications (the “EOS.IO Software”). This is achieved through an operating system-like construct upon which applications can be built. The software provides accounts, authentication, databases, asynchronous communication and the scheduling of applications across multiple CPU cores and/or clusters. The resulting technology is a blockchain architecture that has the potential to scale to millions of transactions per second, eliminates user fees and allows for quick and easy deployment of decentralized applications. For more information, please read the EOS.IO Technical White Paper.

I am in no way connected or affiliated with EOS or block.one. This has kind of become the thread for EOS on Bitcointalk, so I thought I would edit the OP with links and information. OP May 6, 2017:

It sounds like this is essentially Ethereum, but much more efficient seeing as though it has asynchronous processing of smart contracts.

He hasn't released many details yet, but I guess the details will come in after Coindesk's Consensus conference.

Quite an interesting project, which decided to compete with Ethereum And oddly enough, the community accepted this project "Ethereum Competitor". Pretty good start.

In this market, anything can happen, and even such a large and strong project can die, due to lack of investment or internal problems in management. This is a cryptocurrency, everything can happen here.

As we come closer to the new year, I’ve been hearing a lot more conversations from the mainstream media about UBI and it’s acceptance as a solution for a future financial crisis. Will eosio have code written in time to implement UBI in case this happens or not?
