Reading through this thread, I am just seeing different praises about EOS and nobody seems to be mentioning the issues, I have some coins in my EOSLynx wallet and I am watching the price dip for weeks now and I cannot even send out my tokens to sell because evidently the blockchain is so congested that I would need to stake about 30 EOS to make just one transaction daily, d'apps are even threatening to leave the network if the issues are not resolved, I am tired of this nonsense, I just want everything to be resolved so I can sell the tokens and delete my EOS wallet, probably get out my staked EOS too. This is just too bad, always thought EOS was the future.

When do you guys think we can invest into EOS coin?
haha, yes that's a good question. I have invested in eos and the value is very bad and the graphics never move. even always down. turned out to be more profitable to invest in xem, xlm, or xrp.

Assassin's Creed Dev Becomes Producer for EOS-Based Gaming Startup

Ubisoft, the game development giant behind the videogame Assassin’s Creed, partnered with EOS-based game distribution platform Ultra.

Well, all they'll be doing for now is confirm blocks.

As the Ubisoft's representative said,
"During this first trial period of collaboration, we hope to help them in bringing it to a larger scale and experiment with the possibilities this opens up for the industry"

The part "first trial period of collaboration" leaves open a possible continuation of this collaboration, but so far it's nothing more than an experiment from Ubisoft which shows a little of acknowledgement toward EOS.

The potential of EOS is pretty good. Especially in volume. In Asian countries, it's an overused altcoin. It's one of the projects I trust most among altcoins. They have a very solid team behind the project and they are working very hard.

In particular voice.com I'm very excited about their project. Voice has the potential to rebuild our entire social media experience. Having EOS team behind, it makes me believe more in the project. Hopefully they will be successful.
After they spent about $ 30M on the purchase of the voice.com domain, I finally became convinced that EOS does not represent the public interest. He represents the interests of bankers, governments in the enslavement of society.

As you have probably seen, the Eos network is congested because of the airdrop 'Eidos'. The problem is that this airdrop is expected to last ... 15 months! How to envisage the coming months? Hope that a solution will be found!  Roll Eyes

what is the present scalability of EOS ?

I'm directing you to this article about the scalability of eos.  Wink

I have been a fan of EOS for a while, since I've started to read about its features, and I'm a fan of Larimer as well and don't miss a tweet, I've started to buy EOS months ago and to keep it on exchanges.
Now that I've decided to move my EOS to my own Ledger hardware wallet I had to spend the whole day just to go through the ordeal to "make an account".
And now that I've finally managed to make my account on Zeos.co, after having to install Scatter to generate keys I've finally landed on "my account" on yet another site, eospark.com, with no clue whatsoever WTF I should do to put my coins on my Ledger or anywhere else.
BTW I'm not a beginner in crypto, but I must say that so far this is the most user unfriendly procedure I had to go through and in the end I still have been able to solve nothing while wasting one day
This totally sucks.
I thought EOS was looking for mass adoption - NO WAY, if even reasonably skilled crypto fans like me cannot manage to adopt it.
If there is anywhere any clear and detailed instructions on how to use this stuff I may still decide NOT to dump all my EOS and move on.

Hi,

How to use Genesis EOS-account, which was registered from ERC20 tokens before mainnet launch?
I have Account Name and one pair of keys.

Should I pay something to use this account? Or I can simply import keys to the wallet? And what wallet do you suggest to use for that?

Also, I saw in tutorials, that people use two pairs of keys. But I have only one...
Is second pair of keys mandatory? If yes, where should I get it?

Temporary forum vacation

Let's not put everything in one basket.
Sure, EOS was an ICO-only show, kudos to those who bought it! But there are great DAPP games.
Look at Axie Infinity for example (built on Ethereum), it has nothing to be jealous of non-decentralized games of this genre.
Google around and you'll find many more high quality games which are built on blockchain assets.

Kudos to those who bought it, indeed. I would never have put money in and although I knew that it was more likely to turn out to be the new ETH rather than the new Tezos,,, I still could not bring myself to put something into a code that was rife with copycat parts and then later turn out to be a centralized mess.

But all the same, good for those who bought in and good for Dapps who will develop now on EOS.

How is EOS asynchronous rather than synchronous with all nodes have the same state all the time?

And the block chain architecture of EOS with 21 super nodes can reach consensus more faster.
