Here's my latest article about yesterday's massive development. Block.one bought a massive amount of RAM (9.8M EOS worth) for their soon-to-be announced development:

I am a huge fan of eos but since its comparison with ethereum and how it will usurp ethereum from its position as the king of altcoin, nothing has really been heard of and it has remained redundant like waves. Do we expect any more improvement in structure and price from EOS?

EOS is a good coin to invest on but people mostly use another coins and this is because the EOS had a low price in my opinion but i think on a bull run is possible to have a good price for EOS.

EOS is a smart contract platform with the most used Dapps, I recall. There is controversy over its consensus mechanism - with voting for 21 block producers I recall - but I suppose actual use is what ultimately matters. My gripe is the cost to set up an account, even if just a few dollars, and the seeming complexity of setting up a wallet. I'd like a much easier user experience.

Cost to set up an account is pretty negligible. It's either $1 or, in most cases, is free as a lot of projects run promos where they bear the cost of account set up and give it to you for free.

In my case, it was a few dollars, which was still a cost, and as such serves as a potential deterrent for mass adoption. I also found the language and structure of the platform confusing - a quick glance at the explorer shows there is an owner and active key. Sure, crypto enthusiasts may brush this off, but I've been in the space for a while and that seems confusing. The industry needs to move toward simplicity to attract the masses. It needs to be something even a grandmother could navigate.

I'm EOS fan this is a good thread to discuss about incoming news to EOS I remember the time when RAM trading became popular on eos community its give me a good profit for only short period of time I believe in the future this project will boom like what ethereum did in the past couple of years and Dapps of EOS are being popular since its has a lot of good thing in their Dapp.

There are certain coins that ought to be seen growing, but are either not growing or experiencing slow growth. EOS is one of such good coins that investors have not yet taken their turn on, perhaps because there is yet no major update, but very soon i envisage an outstanding growth phase. This coin will very soon compete with the top prominent coins in the crypto space.

Target is right. Dapps on EOS started growing explosively from August 2018 mostly powered by the gambling applications. Two of them in particular: EOS Dice and EOS Bet (btw, this one migrated from Ethereum and never looked back - they grew 100x post migration). But after that there were numerous other non-gambling dapps that were developed and are being used to this day.

Gaming (not gambling) is going to be huge on EOS as multiple gaming studios are developing games on the platform: Mythical Games, ITAM, Sword & Magic, Prospectors all are developing amazing games on it. I am not even talking about High Fidelity that has a VR version of Second Life (remember that platform?) developed and running on EOS.io.

Also, Block.one just unstaked close to 10M EOS (that's close to $63M) that they are planning to spend on some major strategic initiatives that they will be discussing during the #B1June event in DC:

I do not really like the direction in which applications are developing on the EOS platform. I think applications should be more useful than casinos on the blockchain or games.

Cryptocurrencies are made for online use that includes gambling, EOS doesn't concentrate only on gambling and games there are more. You just have to check the dappradar to see that EOS is developing wide areas https://dappradar.com/rankings/protocol/eos/category/other

EOS is popular in gambling because its promoted here in the forum but if you check on thier own forum, they discuss mroe than that.

Anyone here a huge supporter of EOS? Let's share news, ideas, opinions.

I like EOS, I have EOS and some tokens in my EOS wallet. Although this EOS network is not as good as Ethereum but so far the EOS network is more trusted and I have never seen it until a scammer on this EOS network.
To have your own EOS wallet, you must use some money. And I like this because not everyone can have it like the spammers.

I write for https://www.eoswriter.io/ and will be posting some of our most exciting articles and research here. Also, I am going to be attending the June 1st Block. One event in Washington DC, ping me if you are interested in meeting.

This is a nice one to see updates on EOS. I have been postponing to get an EOS wallet. Keep it up and let the updates fly in.. Lol.. For the event, I really wish I can attend but location is a barrier here. Success..

This is one of the best coin in crypto space and am sure investing in it will be a good idea as the next bull will be massive one and it might surge pass normal to a level of over $100 which is a big return for any billion token in supply.

I only participated in one project based on EOS and it seems there are not much projects using the platform in raising IEO's or ICO's. Developers still preferred Ethereum as it is more matured compared to EOS, Cardano or Tron. And there is Binance chain and it would be big in the next years to come.

That's not true, EOS after just a year already got hundred to thousands of projects on it that they didn't even do an ICO nor IEO. You won't see then on ANN thread section on the forum because they don't need to, the eos.io foundation itself is supporting and funding projects. Most of the projects are in the gambling industry though, seem they pick the most obvious use of crypto too.

Eos is full of contradictions.
I do not fully understand why it is the most active blockchain while  price remains low. https://blocktivity.info
Are those real activities or faked?
Would you mind explaining why this is so?

I guess price should be going up if more people are buying and using the cryptocurrency.
