EOS is a really promising and exciting 3rd generation blockchain platform that is slated to compete with the likes of Ethereum, NEO, Cardano, etc. They have novel (and experimental) approaches to the problems plaguing gen 2 blockchains - scalability, interoperability, and governance. EOS is targeting its official launch in mid 2018 and at that point we’ll be able to see if their choices of on-chain governance (voting), 21 block producers, 0 transaction fees, parallel processing, etc. will actually work in practice.
In my opinion, one should do their own researches before buying. Have a close look to the Projects before you invest money. Real world usage and adoption should be the most important things to watch out for.

I think EOS has a lot of development potential. Now the price is very low, so I recommend to buy now. If we consider long-term investment in EOS, then the price will only grow. EOS at the very beginning of its development and it has every chance to surpass ETH.
I actually do used to see a lot of potentials for EOS in the past, but at this stage since they moved to their own mainnet; it seems that development has turned south as a lot of things expected are not actually going as expected actually. However, it all depends on each individual and what they see in a coin they want to be investing in anyway. EOS has probably turned centralized, and some people will obviously not have a problem with that, since I still see a lot of people today even considering ripple as a good option for investment, but like I said, all men have their own choices to make. 
Everyone is very excited about the EOS project, but I recommend caution! This project has been very overvalued and I do not expect price increases. My predictions for this project are a very big drop in the near future. Do not thank me, just save screenshot with my post. Cheers!
A huge caution I must say, considering how things have been with this project lately. Most times when there are so many questions to ask actually, I really do not like taking unnecessary risks. EOS may grow in value in the long run, but that does not depict the fact that it has hoped towards the centralized part and the chances of that growth may be minimal but it is cryptocurrency and nothing is certain.Nonetheless, there are so many fishes in the sea, which I should not have to worry myself much about a certain coin chance for long term holding when I can just easily pick the one I feel more relaxed about. Right now, there are so many questions unanswered with the EOS project which can be a bit scary.

Yes, it has. EOS is a rather young project but the token managed to take the 5th place in the rating of the best cryptocurrencies (according to their market cap).

EOS is really a crazy guy but it really has the potential to break into ETH. EOS is implementing a design plan and creating blockchain 3.0 technology, which no altcoin does. But they still need time to adjust and make perfect. If you have enough courage and patience to invest in EOS, do it. Seems like a great technology but the tokens themselves don’t mean much.

I think so too because the EOS now has its own appeal but to go beyond Ethereum it might be difficult because Ethereum is a coin that has good potential in the future and many ICO projects on behalf of Ethereum.
I think that every investor should have in his investment portfolio eos he is still very young and he has failures but he has a great team of developers and I think that they will cope .
Unfortunately, right now I only have ten eos in my wallet, but I will buy more eos later if somehow I can make another profit from the other coins.
