We’re thoroughly excited about the potential of our Social Shadow Trading Platform, which we plan to roll out latest by Q3 2018.

The timeline for this may seem like a stretch, but there is huge complexity in building out such a platform, with many factors to consider not just about the exchange website, but also our positioning compared to the various other exchanges already available on the market, and the strategy we will employ to gain traction and overcome the high switching costs of coming from a reliable existing platform to ours. We also prefer to stay on the conservative side, and don't wish to over-promise only to end up under-delivering.

Furthermore, we prefer to first focus on improving the token, improving the base platform (tradingview technology with monetization) and the incentive structure, and improve stability, before taking another leap forward. In addition, we think that the mobile wallet is critical for improving ease-of-use and contributes to mass adoption, and want to focus on this together with the base platform.

However, I believe that the Social Shadow Trading Platform we are working on is one of its kind, and we’re confident that it will be able to gain good traction when we launch the platform. We plan to have in place a referral system, as well as profit share options for EQT investors, which we will discuss at the appropriate stage.

For our shadow trading platform, we are still working out the requirements and if you have any feedback or suggestions, we would love to hear it! Social trading platform only in Q3 2018? Why so long? 

As mentioned in the ANN, we have it scheduled to be ready by Q4 this year. This will be the "base" platform that provides:

·       Trade alerts
·       Trading indicators
·       Technical analysis tools
·       Social features
·       24/Hr Support

It will give you access to interactive charts of global markets such as forex, commodities, indexes, stocks, and cryptocurrency; and be a place for traders and investors alike to discuss their ideas, while getting rewarded for accurate price action forecasts.
