Do we know which multipools even include RPC? I know the hashrate went bonkers at the last diff drop, but do we know this was from multipools?
AFAIK, middlecoin is the only major one that does speculative mining. The other ones, like hashcows, typically wait for a coin to get on cryptsy at least.
