All done. Electrum worked perfectly with those 12 words phrase and I was able to get my balance out.

Hey, thank you very much. I really appreciated how much you helped me out on this

Well that's a relief and no problem  Cheesy. Now that you think about it, I should have checked it first if you're using the new interface or not  Cry

Anyways, Just a little advice for a much better security If you're gonna stick with electrum otherwise ignore this.

Create a new wallet in electrum and transfer the funds there (that were originally from blockchain.info) since you are still using the private keys/seed from blockchain.info which is why your funds will be accessible on both wallets (electrum and blockchain.info).

And always encrypt your wallet with a strong password.

No. I get 12 words there

Alright. I'm thinking that you must have upgraded or maybe it was forced?? so there must be an HD wallet by default and funds are there  Huh

Could you try to import it on Electrum and follow what's quoted below:

You can import via seed on electrum, Please refer to this thread: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/restoring-your-standard-wallet-from-seed/
Just don't forget to tap Options --> BIP39 Seed when electrum prompts you to enter your seed. Just to clarify you have a 12-word seed in you right?

Yes. I`m using the new interface as you show in the image

If you're using the new interface can you go to Settings --> Security --> Wallet Recovery Phrase --> Backup Phrase and tell me how many words you're seeing? Is it still 20+ words? If so, Could you try what's on the below quote (Not sure if it will work)

if you don't have the backup or unable to find it, try this thing below.
https://blockchain.info/wallet/ {Your ID } ?format=json

What a luck. I was looking at the v. 0.5.18
You`re right. 0.5.17 or older works as you said

Yes. I`m using the new interface as you show in the image

I exported the Wallet numbers and the private keys but my wallet with the balance is not listed in those files. I must have created it later and It`s not one of the imported addresses

Well, the tool was very good but the file gave me only one address/priv key and my main address is not there.

So is there a way to export aes.json file for the current account where it has all the address and priv keys in it? I couldn`t find that option existed in the current blockchain account

Got a few questions

Do you recognize the address that was generated? Is it yours?

Are you using the new interface or not? Example

Quote from: BTC Turkiye
I just tried Classic, HD and Also a standalone exe file. But None of the give me the option to import a aes.json file. The only place they have to upload a file for priv key, accepts only .key file of multibit wallet.

Go to Tools --> Import Private keys and the tab with the same name will show up. After that tap the "Import from" and tap the drop down menu like what the below picture says:

You should be using v0.5.17 or below

I`m sorry but do you have Any other solutions?

This might be a silly question... but have you tried the easy way getting private keys off your addresses?
if your bitcoin in your old pre-HD wallet addresses, their private keys are easy to extract
below is an excerpt from my post helping someone else, disregard some unrelated info  Wink
if the menu is available you can extract private key for that specific address, it starts with K or L
if this works I can give you more information or probably you already know what to do next Cheesy

on your blockchain.info Dashboard menu: click Settings > Addresses
is your 1o4PtEAcN address listed under "Imported Bitcoin Addresses" (because your first tx on 2014-01-22)
if yes, to the far right of your address, click More Options > Private Key > Continue
you will see the Private Key for compressed address but your address is uncompressed (based on your tx size)

It`s not one of the imported addresses. It doesn`t give me the exporting priv key option

Which version did you use? Try using the classic: https://multibit.org/release-info/classic/v0.5.17.html

Bad news

Even the 64 bit windows version just refreshes the page and doesn`t give any error upon uploading the file and entring my main password (I think the wallet/blockchain password)

Multibit doesn`t give an option in the tools page for importing private keys as people say it does. It only give an option to recover a wallet by recovery words of 12.

I`m sorry but do you have Any other solutions?

And did you try this conversion tool: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/blockchaininfo-aesjson-multibit-wallet-or-key-610555

This tool doesn`t work. It doesn`t give the priv key. Just refreshes the page basically.
Also multibit is discontinued

Any other solutions?

Hey! It looks like I redirected you to the wrong one. Download the tool at the Releases tab: https://github.com/blockchain/my-wallet-backup-decryption-tool/releases

And you should still be able to use the previous versions of multibit. It's for the sole purpose of accessing your funds to send it to another wallet.

I`m not good with Linux. Is there a windows version of this?

You can run it on windows. Go to the link I mentioned above --> Clone or download --> Download Zip --> Extract --> Tap the HTML file.

*Run it offline for security

YES! I found the .aes.json file.
Seems like I became a member in 2013 Cheesy

Ok so now what? What am I going to do with this file?

Download this and run it offline: https://github.com/blockchain/my-wallet-backup-decryption-tool
If your private keys showed up, You can now import it to whatever wallet you like e.g. Electrum

Ok. I`m a little confused here. My coins are stuck in Blockchain. So am I going to be able to import my Blockchain wallet to Electrum with Blockchain Seed?
I don`t think this is possible. Plus my forgot pass seed in Blockchain is like 20 something words

Ever since blockchain.info switched to a new wallet (HD), Their recovery seed changed to 12-words. Yours is probably from the old type of wallet they used in the past so importing in electrum  using your seed won't work.

Do you have your .aes.json files? (Check your email) and I'm assuming that you're using the new interface?
