Lol, rank tells you nothing, one member here was scammed by the guy with senior rank. His account was probably hacked as his email was changed. People with legendary rank are only strangers with old accounts, which may be hacked or not. This week like 4 legendary accounts were sold here on bitcointalk forum... I am not trying to promote myself, but one possible way is to choose people who are publicly known. Real face can worth more than hundred of dollars.

lorylore, you really have no regards... I never had a bad opinion of my services, I escrowed deals for total amount of 1BTC+ just in last week, a lot of them for free and you are bashing me in my own topic. Man, aren't you ashamed?

Couldn't have said it better, rank tells you nothing. Yes, it is a good starting point, but there is a lot beyond rank. For example, I had not noticed the member I purchased from had changed his email account recently, maybe when I did the transaction that would not have raised a red flag, but now I know better. Or, I didn't check his old posts ... those were big red flags. Stupid mistakes.

Also, if I were to purchase DIM or some other NEM associated crypto currency, I would trust tongokongo. Why? There was absolutely no reason for him to get involved at all, to message me and the user that scammed me, or send 0.01 XEM to my DepotWallet as a test transaction, but he did, and that builds trust ... rank doesn't.

I am not trying to promote myself but one possible way is to select people with higher rank. For someone with legendary rank, their reputation can worth more than hundred of dollars. So it is more rare to scam people who are buying hundred of dollars of dimcoin/dimtoken from them.

Hello everyone, I want to give a recommendation for this guy. The deal failed, but the boy honestly acted as an intermediary and returned all the tokens that were sent to his address. I recommend, you can work, guy well done

Hey allycn! I am sorry for your loss! That's why I advise to use escrow services, it is always one more layer of safety...  I hope you will recover your funds back, for now only thing you can do is giving this person negative trust, but I would wait with it just few more days.

I sent a test transaction to it of 0.01 XEM. Please look if you have this transaction in your depotwallet.
I will contact user https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/smokeysmokey-949054 (SmokeySmokey) aswell, maybe he made some mistake and he don't know what mistake he made Smiley Or his account was hacked or maybe he is just a thief.

Hi Tony! Thanks for the reply. Yes, your transaction went through with no issues (just checked DepotWallet). To which address should I send the amount back?
I thought maybe he had some issues with the transfer, which is why I asked for a transfer ID multiple times, but who knows, maybe the user will still reply.

Just used @tongokongo (Original Poster) as an Escrow in a sale of dimcoin worth $3000. Solid legit guy, I recommend him to others.

I wish this thread had been around before. I already posted this on the DIM thread, but I figured since this is the "Dimcoin trading center" thread I should warn you about this member.

If you want the short version it is: I bought DIM from member SmokeySmokey (a Full Member), he confirmed he received his payment and I never received the DIM tokens and DIMcoins. He claims he sent them, but never provided a transfer ID or link to follow up on the transaction (which I have requested multiple times) and my DepotWallet keeps reading "Nothing to show".

If you want the long version with proof, you can continue reading: First of all, this was a stupid mistake on my part. I missed the ICO for DIMCoin, and figured I could try and purchase from someone else. That was mistake #1. Mistake #2 was that as a newbie I was too trusting thinking that being a "Full Member" meant someone had credibility, and not researching how membership grows on Bitcointalk. Mistake #3 was not using an escrow service.

After payment was sent (on September 4th at 12:49 am Forum time), and after confirming payment was received, user SmokeySmokey offered he would do the transfer (which he didn't) and then stopped replying to messages. After multiple messages, user replied apologizing for the delay (more than 24 hours after his last communication, even though user was online multiple times). On September 6th at 11:47 am (Forum time) user sent message indicating DIMtokens and DIMcoins had been sent, but nothing ever showed in my Depotwallet. On multiple occasions I have requested the transaction ID or link to verify the status of the transaction but the user has disappeared once again without providing the information (user has been online multiple times).
Because DepotWallet was experiencing issues as noted by DIMCoin, I contacted DIMCoin directly and asked them how long could a transaction take. They replied that it doesn't take that long and suggested opening my DepotWallet on the NanoWallet, which I did, but nothing showed up. I notified the user of this, still no reply. I am hoping this might actually encourage him to provide me with a transfer ID (after one last attempt at communication yesterday, I notified him today I would proceed as I shall see fit, and that is warning other users).

Here are the screenshots of the purchase agreement, payment confirmation and last communications with SmokeySmokey:

This is the link to the transaction I did to the BTC account he mentioned: https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/462144c16cde5ebfc9fc5274719ed9b45a0b778bddb92a45cd3affbaa76c805a/ (also, here is the screenshot of the transfer I made: https://imgur.com/yykFqNe )

This is the screenshot to my depot wallet were as of today (September 14th) no DIM tokens or coins have been transferred (I also have multiple screenshots from previous days in case you need to see those): https://imgur.com/XUhyBMH and this is a screenshot of some of the messages I sent asking about the transfer and requesting a transfer ID: https://imgur.com/b7RT0CB , https://imgur.com/c1V3Ct8 , https://imgur.com/6FUBsFx

I lost 0.0195 BTC trying to purchase 50 token and 2000 dimcoin (not the biggest investment for many, but I wanted to start somewhere). I am just posting this as a warning in case this member tries to sell his coins or tokens in this thread.

How is this working? The only wallet where Dim coins are kept is DepoWallet & it's not possible to move coins out.
Pls explain

You are wrong Smiley Main wallet on NEM blockchain is NanoWallet. Dim:coin and Dim:token are mosaics under NEM platform. It means that you can transfer them and do all sort of stuff in NEM main wallet -> Nanowallet. Being honest, Depotwallet is a version of NanoWallet with less options and different graphic interface.
https://nem.io/downloads/
So you can totally trade your coins and tokens Smiley

Hey guys, this is tongokongo, I am known in NEM platform as a bloger, youtuber and public figure (speaker).

I am memeber of NEM Poland team.

I am doing mostly multisignature escrows, 2 out of 3. That means, me(escrow), seller and buyer can make actions on multisig accounts. Two people consensus is needed to make transaction (seller+buyer, end if something is wrong -> me + seller or me + buyer). More information on multisignature accounts you can find in the following videos:
https://youtu.be/cLWLqRIXHNk
https://youtu.be/VfawLVWyFho
I am an unofficial escrow for Dimcoin, if there is an interest in my services, I am able to deposit my funds to Dimcoin team and become official.
Fees are 1-2% for BTC/ETH/XEM transactions

I own a TREZOR and can do escrow both Bitcoin and Ethereum! Smiley

Why should you trust me? You don't need to, but if you are going to make a trade without escrow, you can always use me as a free service, just as one more pillars of safety (with multisig option).

How you can contact me:
- I am available in Europe time-zone, if I am available, I will get back to you in few minutes
- you can send me PM here or in the telegram    https://t.me/tongokongo
- I need details, who is the buyer, seller, what is traded, who is paying for fees, account identifiers so I can create multisig account
