off a to a good start in IEM Dallas... odds were too good for ENCE who are ranked #3 in the world against Mouz who have been crap lately

i'll start giving out more tips soon, need some more wins to gain more confidence after a shaky run in LoL MSI lol

The odds that the bookmaker gave for Ence are very good. I have a little time to follow the IEM dallas tournament. There is still a 5-6 day period until the end of the tournament. You made a good opening with 1.90 odds, if I had seen it, I would definitely bet this odds for ENCE. What I'm wondering is, it will be a good fight between Faze and Ence, which will be the upper final match. No matter how close I am to Faze, I foresee it as a surprise since the Ence team is also doing very well. I'll probably place my bet on Ence.

I took the same pick  Cheesy, later i'm thinking of making a parlay between BIG and Vitality, BIG performed okay against NiP and Vitality took care of Astralis then struggled against the major champs though.

If jerax remains on pro, what team could probably adopt him?
Probably none to be honest since most of the teams already locked in their players. At the same time, I think Jerax needs more time to bring back his old form or maybe focus on the position 5 role even more given the rough coordination they've shown during the major. If he decides to join a team and plan to participate in TI this year I guess it'll be a stack coming from the open qualifiers of the third tour.

Nice bet! Congratulations! By the way, maybe you remember what odds there were for an exact score of 3-2 for the victory of T1 and RNG? My thought is that if you were sure that the final score would be 3-2, then it might be profitable to make two bets - one for T1 to win with a score of 3-2, and the second for RNG to win with the same score?
I think the correct score for RNG was 3.8 odds or something and 3-2 T1 was a bit slower, but don't quote me on that

thing about those two bets is that you're risking a few units or mbtc (say 2mbtc in total, 1mbtc for each correct score) and in return you'll get about the same payout that you'd get with the Over 4.5 where you're only risking one unit (or 1 mbtc, for example). Plus, if the match ends 3-1 for either team, i would've lost just 1mbtc with the Over Maps ticket, whereas with two Correct Scores tickets i would've lost more

i enjoy the banter between G2 and KR teams, but i'm getting sick and tired of watching G2 getting deleted by kr teams ;P

RNG - T1 went to game 5 and and my last MSI ticket won, so my LoL season ends on a high note  Smiley

And RNG wins the whole thing. They were relentless throughout the whole tournament, they deserve it

now, looking forward to more CSGO action with IEM Dallas starting tomorrow

I've heard the rumor that it's Fly going back there but still, that remains a rumor.
It's official now, I can't believe Fly went back to EG after hearing his experience during the that one dota podcast between sunsfan and synderen. Then again, I can't blame him for going back since they meshed really well.
Yeah, I've seen the official announcement so that rumor was right. He's not fit with the play style of sea players and he should do better going back with EG.

The tandem of cr1t and fly is better than with jerax. Sad to say that but that's the reality and jerax's play style is irreplaceable together with the OG roster that he's been with.

If jerax remains on pro, what team could probably adopt him?

That grand finals between RNG and SKT was an interesting back and forth though, that last game felt like the outcome was already decided after the drafting phase since some of the matchups were similar to game 1 and game 3 where RNG came out on top.

I watched all 5 games today and was satisfied (although I was rooting for SKT1) - it was real entertainment and not 3-0 in the semi-finals. There was some bad aftertaste from game 5 where Faker feeding and the map turned out to be one sided, but as I said it's still better than 3-0 and RNG really deserved the title after all those endless losses to SKT1.

As for G2, I can't blame them. They are also playing their best game of League for the most part, but they seem to fall off when faced with KR teams. :/

Aren't they on division 2? Well, they're going to kick a lot of teams from there.

Well getting back to 1st division is going to be easy but their main target would be to qualify for the TI and with Tundra, OG, GG, Team Liquid pretty much almost qualified, their chances are looking good because the only contenders left are Alliance and Team Secret. Anyway, Im going for Nigma -1.5 for every game they will have on 2nd division lol
They're qualified but I think that will go through hell just to be qualified. Looking at the points they've got, how many majors are there remaining? They should win most of the wins if there's still a two or three because they're far if a point basis.

But it's not the only option, they'll got to go with the qualifiers and I don't know if it's two or three teams will be qualified to go through the TI from there.

now i'm curious to see which position 5 EG decides to pick up after removing Jerax.

Kinda boring that we gotta wait for a week until we get some good matches in DOTA, pretty much nothing to bet on right now with all those open qualifiers to DPC.
Yup, their only way to TI is through the qualifiers since there's only one major left but it'll be tough since Team Secret might have the better chance of qualifying but we'll see how teams perform.

Also, Ramzes moved back to Virtus Pro and now i'm curious to see which position 5 EG decides to pick up after removing Jerax.

There are ongoing matches but they're not the ones that we like to see, like young blood and unknown teams. One that's no need to wait for long is the BTS Pro Series: Sea and America and the teams are quite familiar.
They're both on their near end.

No matter how good we think NA or EU are, CN/KR are miles better than the them. It's crazy to see just how big the gap between those regions has grown over the year  Sad  2-0 T1 and Faker is playing Akali which is OP in the hands of the goat so, 3-0 incoming :/

A bet on total over 3.5 looks really like free money, it turns out that bookmakers are very likely to expect T1 to win with a score of 3-0? This is a big underestimation of G2.
Everyone expected G2 to go toe-to-toe against T1, especially after seeing the latter struggling in the group stage, but it was all a farce to make us believe the other teams could beat them. Played us like a fiddle. Bastards 😂

Today's games are much worse than yesterday's. Yesterday there was at least some semblance of a struggle in certain moments of the match. But today everything looked like a training of professionals against amateurs. 20 minutes for the third game - what? Should we take this seriously? If the final is not super mega epic, then I would call this tournament a failure in terms of entertainment.

Here I am thinking that over the years, other regions have managed to grow stronger and match KR/CN on the world stage but no, these two regions still dominate the scene for almost a decade now. After their introduction to the game, they immediately got the grasp of how the game should be played, and the Western scene of the game kinda fell off in strategies and meta.

It's also worth noting that for 9 years, Faker is still dominating the scene with the same organization, and can still make top orgs look like newbies with his mechanical skill and the way he plays around the map.

As for G2, I can't blame them. They are also playing their best game of League for the most part, but they seem to fall off when faced with KR teams. :/

I'm on the opposite side, I think G2 will take one map at best and this is just based on how they performed during the rumble stage. Even though G2 manage to qualify and beat T1 once, at one point they had the chance to contest the second seed if it weren't for that poor second-half results. I also think over is a great pick but i'll go with T1 -1.5 expecting they'll perform much cleaner compared to what we saw during the rumble stage.

yeah that was the most predictable stomp in this tournament. The favorites to win the tournament versus NA in a best-of-5  Roll Eyes btw, extremely unlikely RNG were following some kind of script, they were simply playing with their food in the last game (:

anyway, like i said the other day, i'm expecting a good showing from G2,

T1 found their mojo, but i think we can see the best G2 in the typical BO5 format. Over3.5 @1.5 is free money, but i'm biased towards G2. A lot of hype surrounding this match, hope it can deliver 🔥🔥

If we take into account the matches of the group stage, then RNG defeated EG 5 times in a row, the alignment of forces in this pair was obvious.

RNG 3 - 0 EG

Expected result, although EG at some points in the games even took the lead and it seemed that they would be able to take at least one map. In the third game, it seemed to me that RNG was deliberately trying to lose in order to stretch out the semi-final (probably the organizers are interested in this), but even in such conditions, the EG could not win.
I hope tomorrow's semi-final SKT1 - G2 will be much more competitive.
