Just watched FTM kick Viking ass. I had them as ML on high stake ticket and I had over 2.5 on low stake multi so I would have preferred if Viking managed to get that second map and then lost. Viking had a very solid lead in that second map but FTM turned around quickly. They just needed one good fight and few seconds later it was all over.

Damn, that Luna can destroy the base fast Smiley

@Avirunes  talking about Astralis, looks like Dupreeh got tired of all the BS ppl are saying about the team: https://twitter.com/dupreeh/status/1267501122580873222

I also saw some discussion of some commentators and they were discussing about the two players breaks from Astralis. They talked about that Majors is right around the corner and the leaves is the right time to regain the mental strength and overcome health issues. I think it is the right time as well. ESL One Rio is scheduled to happen in November and they have months to recover.

People always throw pebbles when they don't find the performance as expected. People are questioning about the leave but checking that discussion I also think they have something big going on their mind.

Got me 2 wins (out of 5) thanks to the Americas teams yesterday..phew! Did anyone one watch the games? Except for Chaos vs Gen G, the other two matches were far more entertaining than all the EU matches combined lol  Grin

What do you guys have for the ESL playoffs later today? Team Nigma is looking like a value bet, the bookies have them as underdogs against VP.Prodigy.
Today i'm going with:

Dota
O 2.5 @ https://i.ibb.co/31BNd6c/vikinftm.png  Vikin threw the game...bunch of clowns!
+1.5 @ https://i.ibb.co/4fkjnhN/liquid.png

About Nigma, i'm gonna back them tomorrow. ML @1.99 at the time of writing, might take this rn, too good =)

(so, time to avoid Astralis in future bet slips?)

Yeah I would or maybe side a bit with handicap for the other if they are up against some really unpredictable sides like complexity,VP, Nip. Astralis all players are very good on comms and with new players I think that communication link up is kinda lost now and they have to build up that in them.

But i am sure at one point both Snappi and Jugi will adjust into the team, so I am just waiting for that sign for now before going for betting on Astralis.

Well, that draw ruined my ticket. Didn't even know that CS can end as a draw when placing a bet. Will have to be more careful in the future. Of course all other matches ended up favourably for me.
Draws are very rare in CSGO tournaments but now you know Blast is one of the few that doesn't allow matches to go past overtime (during the group stage phase). I also get sucked in the 1x2 market as the odds are always better but after betting on other sports that ends on draw i've learned my lesson.  Cheesy

0 wins so far, 2 more to go...can't wait for the Dota playoffs  Roll Eyes

Well the history is that alot of blame was attributed to bettors interfering with CSGO games so a few years back they started the idea of best of 2 or a possible win for both teams on their own map pick.   It was done to discourage or even disrupt any betting on those matches, fairly deliberately I think.
In more then a dozen cases I know of bad elements in the community would attack online matches and knock players offline  to alter the winning chances of the most likely winner.   With odds of 10 to 1 back in the old days, it was highly profitable to do so.   The odds of iBP vs NCG was 93% vs 7%  and I did win that bet btw but ibp was far better then
If you have watched Stunna recently as a caster, he used to be the manager for the classic C9 team and ended up playing during a match in their 5 because of this DDOS on the main squad.   Obviously an IP had been discovered and not every player can or knows how to alter details and stay secure, so that happened more then once.   Stunna is a nice guy but he is ex military service was mostly admin never a pro player himself, MGE at the time he was forced into playing for C9.     Obviously people like Zonic for Astralis, he is great and its not as bad.

That sucks. But now you know, time for round 2  (:

@Harko  yeah i don't go for draws either, but i might need to change my strategy during this group stage.

@Avirunes  Looks like i'm expecting too much from this Astralis. They won versus the weak team but didn't stand a chance versus hampus & Co. And you're right, it might take some time for the whole team to be on the same wavelength (so, time to avoid Astralis in future bet slips?). But, Snappi vs. NiP was something else tho, 8-21 LOL

thing is that I was planning to skip one Astralis match today and ended up skipping the one vs. sAw (odds are trash)...But you're right, it could go either way, although i'm counting on God 'Device' to wreak havoc =P

Oh didn't checked that they had another fixture as well against sAw.

They lost the match against Nip Sad. JUGi and Snappi gave the worst performance but given the thing that they just came into the team I think they will need some time to fit in with the game style of Astralis.  It is hell lot of work for Zonic to get them into it while Xyp9x and Gla1ve are out. Only Device and dupreeh were good out there, magisk also seemed kinda off today.

I like these match ups and the odds are valuable too, but I really don't like the fact that there is a draw option in the lines (it makes me feel a bit skeptical about placing any bet)
LOL a we start off this tournament with a draw  Grin

Who said draw?  Grin

I decided to try my luck today and put a draw on the first four matches.
Teams quite often go to overtime, so why not now when they have to play only one map, right? The O 26.5 is also a solid pick imo. Might as well place a few of those tomorrow. See if any on the next three games finish in a draw, that would be sweeeeet.

Lol! My guts were right then ☹️☹️

I'm not just the guy to bet on draws, we might even get one draw, fingers crossed.

9x that's some Ez money you've got bud 😉😉

Jackpot  Grin  I didn't see many ppl going for a draw today. Nice win!

While I was making my picks this morning, every time I saw 'Draw', i started questioning my bets =P but eventually I decided to skip draws completely and opted for ML. I might go for Total Rounds and Draws tomorrow rather than ML..gonna wait and see if i get wins today.

I want to post an update here about my first VIP group experience, if this is allowed. Thanks in front!

RAND1919 VIP  Roll Eyes

Hello everyone.

First of all, thank you for believing in me and showing so much support. This is the first time I've did something like this. It was a nice experience for me and i have learned a lot on the way. It wasn't easy like I thought it would be, and It gave me a lot of stress, since I wanted to make you all happy for the service you paid for.

May is over, and we finished in a minimum plus. Here are the results of my May VIP bets (down bellow on the image).

First 2 weeks were really hard for me, I didn't find the proper way to do it, and I do think I burned out with wrong betting strategy (mass bets, unreliable bets).  We were down like 30% in ROI at some point, and almost 30 units in minus. However, after listening to your advices and suggestions how to improve the service and bets, last 16 days were a blast. We had:

+ 20 Units
~ 65% win ratio

We manage to pull it off in the end and with 54% bet win ratio overall, we ended up 1 unit in plus at the end of the month.

Money and unit management is not easy, even if we have 50% win ratio, we must bet smart in order to profit at the end. And I want to continue that trend in June. I want to do smart bets, much smaller bet amounts and more quality bets.

I would understand if you are not interested anymore after that fiasco in first 2 weeks of May. I apologize to everyone because of that, mistakes happen, especially in the betting world. Nothing comes over night.

🚨But for those who want to continue, please PM me here in the next 2 days, so we can sort out the entry for June. Everyone else will be removed from the chat (thanks for supporting me during May).

To enter VIP for June, please contact me at: [email protected]

Best Regards and Happy Betting,
rand1919

^^ Astralis vs Nip one would be very risky. Jugi is really struggling to perform for Astralis and with another change with Snappi coming for Xyp9x it makes it really risky. Nip are really unpredicatble side.

@ batang_bitcoin  I couldn't watch it live, Vp.P vs NiP were playing at the same time. But that was a poor pick on my part. Should've known that Alliance were killing it lately (win vs FTM, Winstrike, Vp.P and without dropping games), while OG have been shite in the past few matches :/

Well, today it's all about CSGO:

Vitality ML @1.62
Astralis ML @1.92
Fnatic vs MAD lions O 26.5 @1.73
Evil G ML @2.26
FURIA vs MIBR O 26.5 @1.80

i'm dropping .5 units on each Over 26.5 just in case.

I like these match ups and the odds are valuable too, but I really don't like the fact that there is a draw option in the lines (it makes me feel a bit skeptical about placing any bet)

but anyways, I'm going with ~2 bucks Parlay on

Vitality ML
Astralis ML
Fnatic ML
Astralis ML (vs SAW)

Total Odds: 9.58

OG . Alliance O 2.5 @1.90
The first game of this match is very intriguing for me. The picks of OG were not convincing but they have a motto that "as long as it works" and they can prove themselves but Sumail's early play is what makes me think as if they're just having fun. Whether they win against Alliance, they wouldn't get into the playoffs. Topson played Ancient Apparition for two games and I don't think it's effective or they're just experimenting, a still good game to them and we'll see them to the next tournaments like BLAST Bounty Hunt.

What a shitty Saturday, got only 1/4 wins, although one of them was a yolo kind of bet =P

A week long break before DreamHack NA/EU resumes, but in the meantime we'll have the BLAST Premier Spring NA/EU starting tomorrow. So, no CSGO picks today, just Dota:

Vp.Prodigy +1.5 @1.65
OG . Alliance O 2.5 @1.90
Vikin.gg -1.5 @2.45
