RNG - EDG ---> i bet on RNG
GEN - C9 ---> with sadness i bet on GEN, but for this time i not bet for this match
T1 - HLE ---> i bet on T1..... today
DK - MAD ---> with sadness i bet on DK, is the strongest team in this world championship

i bet on DK for winning championship

If it's not a secret on which service do you place your bets and with what odds? Or is it simple prediction without real betting? You say that DK is the favorite of this tournament, and who, in your opinion, is in second place? T1? In the late times when I seriously watched LOL tournaments, T1s were constant favorites in all competitions, apparently a lot has changed since then.

They are set for life if considering the sponsorship on top of such large winnings.   This team brand has been doing well in multiple esports recently, the owners must be very happy right now.   x29 bet on yourself is also extreme, betting like that is not usually encouraged but I guess its not outlawed or he'd not be so brazen.

Yes, it’s probably amazing to achieve some kind of major success in your youth and after that be able to do what you love all your life, and not chase after money.
As for that bet, there is nothing illegal/muddy - at the time he made a bet, he no longer had anything to do with the team. He is a former CEO, not an incumbent.

This was unexpected, I never thought Team Spirit would actually get it, these are bunch of young pros, they literally were a fresh lineup and just imagine stomping on all your way to the aegis, I was spectating them for quite a while and never really expected to make it all the way to the finals, I really was only expecting them to gather experience and come back better on the next TI, but wow, I guess I underestimated this team, congrats to those who placed their bets on TS.
No one had really expected that Team spirit would get the Aegis of this year of TI10 on where there are lots of powerhouse teams which are more better candidate but this one turns out to be the dark horse of the
said competition.

They had slumped down OG,Secret and in finals on LGD which is truly a stellar performance. One thing or reason on why they had won is that they do have large hero pool or simply versatility in short term.

Well executed on their own hero roles and do really have good timing and of course the trust for their team mates. This one is truly remarkable.

The former CEO of the team before the start of the tournament made a huge bet on it:

https://twitter.com/vpsneg - this is his twitter, there are quite funny comments about this bet and even from the bookmaker that accepted this bet (but all in Russian).
In dollars, the size of the bet is slightly more than 20k, the winning is x29, respectively  Cool Shocked
He's confident with his former team and just an all out support to this team from his nation. I've seen a lot of bets stumbled because many have believed that LGD is the one that will take the championship. They've never disappointed because they did their best and tied the series into 2-2 not until they're tired and pressured for the game 5. Kudos to the mental abilities of Team Spirit since they've been pressured at the start of the tournament coming from the lowest, to the lower bracket and up to the finals.

As the typical quote from other champs like Nigma,
Quote
Upper bracket is for the weak.

The boys, who are on average a little over 20 years old and for whom this was the first big Dota 2 tournament, beat all the favorites in a row, and finally the main candidates for the title, which brought them a historic title and a grand prize of an incredible 18 million dollars - the absolute record of all time in esports.

That's a pure hard work and a good luck, its their time to shine so there's no surprise they beat all the top teams.
This is their first ever international tournament if I'm not mistaken and this is really good for a first timer. Nothing to be ashamed of for other teams, they all did a great job its just that, its not their time this year. Looking forward for the next tournament, this become more exciting.
Yeah, I didn't expect them to win the TI because I didn't know them and because I only support top and popular teams like OG, T1, and Secret, but those teams were defeated by the TI10 champion. I remember OG being on their team, just fighting till the finale, and look what happened to Team Spirit: they gained $18 million dollars and are now a part of Dota2 history. Tbh, I want them to lose when the disrespect occurs (well, for me, I consider it a disrespect because it's not a chat wheel even Ceb has already emphasized that it's just nothing), but then I remember that they're truly trying their hardest to win the TI! Congratulations to the bettors and supporters of TI participants!!

I am glad that a team from my country won this prestigious tournament, but it was not a surprise for me - as far as I know, the Russian oligarch Usmanov is making huge investments in this area. By the way, I should note that the age of 20 is not at all young for e-sportsmen, for example, Korean e-sportsmen of the Starcraft Broodwar era became champions at the age of 16.
Big investors are really behind those teams, considering the fees that they'll need to pay so they can join the tournament, well great investors produce the best team and this is the result of that. With regards to age, for me it doesn't matter as long as they have the talent and know how to adopt, it could bring a good result.

Looking forward for the next tournament, this become more exciting.
The next TI will be on August 2022, for sure the top teams are eager to get back on top.

Very historical indeed and they doesn't show any pressure at all. Just as the interview of Silent, it's always like having fun. I remember, this was also the formula being done by OG when they've taken two aegis'.
They can now live in retirement with that money but since they're still young and they're on their greatness, I guess they can still keep for 2 or 3 more TIs to try.

The grand final of the Dota 2 tournament ended with a score of 3-2 in favor of Team Spirit! I am crazy glad that they still managed to beat the Chinese team! Congratulations to everyone who bet or supported Russian team! The guys really deserve this victory and the $18 million prize! Well done guys!
On the time that Team spirit had been beating up those powerhouse teams then it did really leave that impression that it is a good contender for TI finals and i wasnt wrong and they didnt really failed up
even though they are up against with LGD which is known to be top tier but this turns out that Team spirit was the dark horse.Had beaten up those teams in Lower bracket.

No one had really been expecting for them to win this The International and speaking with prize won then its an staggering award which you couldnt able to see on any esport events
as of today.

Congratulations Team Spirit and for those bettors who had trusted up this team.

Massive congrats to Team Spirit! I almost jumped into an Uber and drive directly to National Arena to take a picture with the arena as it's still decorated with the TI banners and it's only 25 minutes away from my home. However, I cheered so much for them in this finals because it's about PASSION and LOVING DOTA and Team Spirit had both of them.

A little joke now , should we expect more bald players from now at TI ? Yakoro shaved his head to win TI and he won it  Grin Grin
