COUNTER STRIKE GLOBAL OFFENSIVE TIP OF THE DAY:

13:30 CET : PENTA vs LDLC white : PGL Minor

First day on the first ever PGL Minor Championship. We have PENTA facing LDLC W in the second game of the day. Both teams are not in their best shape at the moment. They will be striving for that tricky BO1 win.
If KRYSTAL and tahsin are on their usual level the chances for PENTA to get that win are much higher. Davidp has also been great lately with a rating of 1.14.
LDLC had only won one game in they last five and we don't see how are they going to handle with PENTA. PENTA are more prepared on most maps have better line up and are more confident.

Our Forecast : Win for PENTA

DOTA 2 TIP OF THE DAY:

16:00 CET : Ad Finem vs Yellow Submarine : BO2 : Prodota Cup

YOS are being very strong in this tournament. The new team of Ad Finem hasn't yet showed anything special, so we think this will be an easy 2-0 win for YOS. BO2 are always tricky, so keep in mind when placing your bets.

Our Forecast : Win for Yellow Submarine

COUNTER STRIKE GLOBAL OFFENSIVE TIP OF THE DAY:

18:00 CET : ex-Titan vs mousesports : Game Show : BO3

Very important game today in group D of the Game Show Global Cup. The game between the favorites in the group, sort of a decider for direct spot in the quaters.
Mousesports have been quite strong lately, with an amazing wing against dignitas in the Dreamhack Leipzig , also taking a clear 2-0 wins against Space Soldiers and the reborn CPH Wolves in the last 2 days. Definitely looking forward for tonight as it will be a great game.Mouse have much better chances of taking that win. ChrisJ and Niko are looking pretty scary and tonight we hope they will keep up the strong play's. Spiidi looks like a great sub for gobb , and we very much like the new face of mousesports.

Our Forecast : Win for mousesports :

DOTA 2 TIP OF THE DAY:

19:30 CET : Burden United vs Pries : Prodota Cup 2 : BO3

Today is the second game of the lower bracket in the second season of the ProDota Cup. Burden is facing Pries in a BO3 match to try and advance in Round 2 where Tornado Rox is waiting after loosing in the Upper Bracket.
Both teams are not performing too well lately , anyway Burden are showing good spirit and have a slight advantage. Pries are coming from 5 loses in row and if they don't change they way they play this will most likely be their number 6. Our opinion is that Burden are the clear favorite here and will go with medium stake.

Our Forecast : Win for Burden United

COUNTER STRIKE GLOBAL OFFENSIVE TIP OF THE DAY:

13:00 CET : Na'Vi vs Luminosity : Dreamhack : BO3

Here we are at the finals again, and we have Na'Vi in there again. Are they going to be able to take it this time? We all know how they love to choke at LAN's and specially on finals. They have Luminosity to play against which are just amazing.
Na'Vi made their way to the final with convincing wins , they showed great teamwork and aim, we saw great Edward which we haven't in a long time.
They killed FaZe and SK in the BO1 stage , which guaranteed their spot in the semi's as winners. They had to face the strong side of Dignitas which came from a 2-0 win against mouse. This wasn't a problem for the Ukranian team which came out and took the 2-0 win.

Luminosity started the tournament a bit shaky, loosing their first BO1 game against FaZe , but mannaged to set their pace right and come out stronger than ever against SK , where fnx did the double ACE !! They also brought the biggest upset in the tournament , killing Astralis 2-0 in the semi's.

We would like to believe that Luminosity will come on top:
1st - they are just showing great tactics on every map they play, they clean sweeped one of the strongest teams in the world !
2nd - We all know how Na'Vi chokes on finals and we think this one won't be an exception.

Our Forecast : Win for Luminosity :

http://vitalbet.com - Luminosity @ 1.82

http://ebettle.com - Luminosity @ 1.8

Do you have a pick for the grand final CSGO match today? Gonna be a great close match in my opinion. With LG winning the last best of three with navi, and navi winning the best of three before that versus Luminosity This match is really close. I'm picking Navi to win it all, I would be interested in your opinion.

DOTA 2 TIP OF THE DAY:

17:00 CET : Team Spirit vs Tornado Rox : Dota Cinema

Today we have a few games that we'll be predicting for you starting with Team Spirit vs Tornado Rox 9 (ex Fantastic Five).
In their last 10 games Team Spirit have scored 5 wins and 5 losses , where tornado managed to win 6 , lose only 2 and draw 2 despite
playing agains somewhat weaker opponents. It wont be easy for both but we will go with Team spirit winning 2:1.
Next one we have Vega Squadron vs Mamas Boys.
Vega have been playing rather well ,even managed to win over Team Alliance (champions at StarLadder Star Series Season 13),Mamas Boys
on the other hand though have won their last game agains Vega with a solid 0:2 this is leading us to believe that a draw will occur:
Vega Squadron vs Mamas Boys - 1:1

And a bonus sure winner Digital Chaos vs Shazam - 1:0

COUNTER STRIKE GLOBAL OFFENSIVE TIP OF THE DAY:

15:00 CET : mousesports vs Dignitas : BO3

With a pretty big upset against Virtus Pro (good thing we skipped), Dignitas have landed themselves in the group B decided match where they'll face Mousesports. Mouse have a slightly new line up , witch turned out pretty good so far. Spiidi has been pretty solid so far.Chris J is has always been great at lans , top fragging in both games and having more than 25 kills in the 2 Bo1 matches they had.
Dignitas has its fair share of excellent fraggers too. Kjaerbye and RUBINO has topped and second fragged in both games and I reckon this will happen again in this BO3. Dignitas has great teamwork and calls but Dignitas did miss a number of important shots yesterday and if they continue, mousesports might have an easy time.

Our Forecast : Win for mousesports

LEAGUE OF LEGENDS TIP OF THE DAY:

18:00 CET : Origen - Vitality : LCS EU

Everybody expected much more from Origen after their great performance in the World's. Unfortunately they still can't gain their momentum and play how they used to. Maybe the fact that xPeke is not playing is crucial for the teams spirit. With 2 L - 1 W in the group they will face Vitality which so far are showing great stuff and managed to squeeze 2 wins , one of them against Fnatic. Today we think that they have a real chance of taking their 3rd win. Nukeduck's mid feels slightly better than the newcomer for Origen - PowerOfEvil. It will all come down to the correct picks as both teams look equally strong. And the odds are really good!

Our Forecast : Win for Vitality

"Thank you very much! I actually did not know Scandinavia had some of the world's elite in CS:GO. I remember years ago playing Counter Strike 1.6 i think it was called, and what a game! I think i'll have to get some more info about the team, and the whole CS:GO gambling/streaming scene. I don't remember Counter-Strike titles before CS:GO having the ability to gamble at."

You're right about that, I never remember having the ability to gamble on streamed matches back when people played cs 1.6. Now the in game skins in the newest CS, have their own market with gun skins that reach ridiculous prices. With those skins and so much money involved, csgo gambling sites took off. Now you can bet with fiat, BTC or ingame skins. I guess a lot has changed since the first counter strike.

I have a question for you guys. I don't watch, nor follow or bet on any e-sport. But a few days ago, in the evening news in Denmark, one of the stories where the danish team Astralis(i didn't know Denmark had a professional CSGO team), where an investor invested millions of DKK. But are they any good? I mean, i imagine the american players and Asian players are a whole lot better - but i don't know, as I don't follow this.

Hello , I will be more than glad to answer your questions.
First lets start with that Denmark has always had one of the best CS:GO players in the world therefore top teams as well. Europeans have been dominating the scene of CS:GO for years , recently US and South American teams are getting better and are showing up in prime events. But world's elite is Denmark and Sweden.
Astralis were previously known as TSM which is an US organization , one of the biggest in eSport world. Anyway when the contract was finished the players decided to go and create their own organization. They are in the top 3 teams in the world and are earning got money from tournaments and have a huge following.
In other words I would be glad if I was a Danish citizen , that these guys have turned their dream into reality and are one of the best examples for teamwork in the whole CS:GO scene. Hope this clears up the idea.

You can watch their first game with the new name here - http://www.twitch.tv/dreamhackcs

Wow, some kinda strange results today from some of the teams. Good job on your pick. I really didn't expect LG to lose against Faze and only expected mouse to barley cover the spread. Its always a chore predicting Best of ones when two good teams are playing. Looking forward to the best of threes coming out, much harder to win a fluke bo3. I don't watch LoL but I tailed your pick today. Thanks.

My belief in eSports is that it is even easier for people involved arrange games.
I guess eSports can be the perfect betting place for scammers and such...
Wow. And on what information you based that opinion? Esport is not different from any other professional sports. I've seen many more problematic behaviors and suspicious games in 'normal' sport.
Of course there will be attempts to bend the rules and fix games, but it is more like flaw of people than esport fault. There are esport organisations which oversee every major event.

Yes, it might be difficult to "arrange" games in eSports but still it's a thing in it. Check out what happened to Mineski-X's members who were banned for life in all Valve's events because of game fixing. Even though such thing is happening in the eSports scene, still we can't say that scammers and shills are evident in this kind of gambling.

COUNTER STRIKE GLOBAL OFFENSIVE TIP OF THE DAY:

13:30 CET : Astralis (ex-?) - Dignitas : Dreamhack Leipzig

This will be the first match we get to see the ex-TSM/TQM roster play under their newly formed organisation and we're sure they're going to bring some solid performance right off the bat to show that they mean business.
This is a classic clash as some of the players in Astralis use to be Dignitas players in the past , they are both Danish sides. Obviously Astralis will be looking for their first win under the new name , and what better chance than a team which they know perfectly. We have always enjoyed good CS:GO between the two , and today will be no exception.
Lets see how well is Karrigan going to carry the team.

Our Forecast : Win for Astralis

GOOD LUCK !

No offense, but I'll go for Dignitas this time. They had been playing a-okay now, better than Astralis (my own opinion.)

Good to see a thread in eSports being active. Smiley
