As we are either in bull run or approaching it I wanted to understand about investment opinions from fellow users as Bitcoin will remain the first choice of investment but if we want more profit we know we have to go ahead with Altcoin for higher profit with higher risk involved. But when it comes to Altcoin would you prefer the established coins like ETH, XRP, Matic, BNB and SOL or wanna give a chance to newbuds which will bloom during this bullrun ? Existing ones who has pumped during last bullrun or new finds ? Which one would be your choice of investment?

I would prefer new Altcoins which is entering bullrun for the first time.
I prefer eth or xrp mainly because of their unique functions and potential. There used to be bnb api now since the ceo zhang case so just choose those two. and, I think xrp stands out with fast cross-border transactions and real-time liquidity.

Yeah, we could say that we are heading into that bullish season. But that doesn't mean the market will continue to rise. Because after all, we know that the market is currently in an uptrend. However, it does not rule out the possibility that there will be a market correction first. Usually before Christmas and New Year, there will be a change in market correction, right? But who knows for this year. Regarding the altcoins coins you listed, it seems like they all have quite potential. I also have several of them all. Even though the number of wins is not much. but it's not just one altcoin. I think they are potential. Ohers may be Matic XRP, XLM, Trx.

Everything in this life is all about the risks involved, no one gets anything on a platter of gold any longer, so if taking the risk to make huge profit suits you then go for it, but knowing the fact that Bitcoin can save you from this risk and you still wanting to under take the risk then it means you are ready for any outcome.

The well established Altcoins do no give as much profit as the new ones coming into the market. There is this first pump associated with every first Altcoins, immediately they launch their trade into any exchange that becomes the best pump that will give you such profits you desire to making. So get your money ready, monitor any new Altcoin, study them carefully , watch with the hype they give and make your investment in due time and withdraw immediately during the pumping do not hold it for too long before selling if not you bear the loss.

I will always prefer established ones, it's clear that we are going to see some new coins to go up during the bull run as well there is no doubt about that but I have no idea which ones, so why would I take a risk with them? I would rather go with established ones, they will go up anyway and I will make some profit.

People who pick new ones and pick the right ones will make more money than the people who pick the established ones, but the people who pick the established ones will make more profit than the people who pick the new ones but the wrong ones. This is why I rather not go with the new ones because there is a potential that I may pick the wrong ones, instead I will go with the riskless result instead.

We have all seen that new altcoins at this time do not reach the peak of its performance as expected. There are many altcoins that stop after running for some time and there are many altcoins that cheat by selling tokens and become inactive. So for investment I will first select those altcoins that I know and have been in the crypto market for a long time. In my opinion buying old altcoins is better than cheating by investing in new altcoins as it will be profitable as well as risk free.

Established coins.

Yes, we've seen the price of altcoins pumping during the bull run, but do all of them pump? No. Most of the established coins do. Most of the top 100 coins do. Most of the top 10 coins do. The top coins that you shared already pumped their price during the bull run, and there's a high chance that it might happen again.

I'm a conservative type of investor who always prefers investing on some established coins rather than those new projects out there even though time is on my side. I don't want to risk that much money into something that I believe will be a failed one in the future. I'm not saying that all new projects will end up as failed ones, but most of them are (based on history), and there's a chance that I might lose investing in new projects rather than getting profit.

Overall, I believe that there will be some who will try and invest into some low market cap altcoins in the bull run in hopes of the getting some huge profits, but not for me.

Agreed on your point of view as what you have suggested is one of the best one use cases once should be using while investing and yes there is a larger risk involved if we want to invest into new coins and there is no doubt established coins do pump during the bull run but in the last bullrun if we consider some of the established coin which had hit the ATH during 2018 we will see mixed result as some did hit ATH and some didn't.

I have been investing into traditional coins especially within top 20 rankings but this earn trying to gain more profits by taking higher risk during the bull run because we have witnessed most of the coins rise during bull run and I am just trying to to if I can benefit from it in a way that instead of 2x or 3x profits in traditional coins I am aiming for 10x with new coins but I would be choosing the right coin based on various factors.

Once we pass through bullrun I would be redirecting majority of my funds to Bitcoin and a part for top altcoins. At the moment I am hodling on to Bitcoin with 95% of my funds and 5% I have invested in a new altcoin and maximum I would increase the ratio to 2:1 during bull run.

You own the pen
The new coin has better chance of growth than the older one which is already billions of dollars marketcap marketcap Expect some altcoins. I am only looking at some major altcoin like Chainlink, ICP, Matic otherwise there are mostly a few new altcoins that i am looking at. Few narratives that can get attention in the upcoming bull run i think its web3, AI, RWA and L2. We are already seeing this in the market right now where many AI and RWA projects have raised up to multiplex in the recent mini-altseason.

Only if you know them based on your research about them because most of those coins are not real and don't have any real road maps and plans to improve their platforms or products. They only created for today's trend and of course, they will gonna hype their coins until they see that many investors are taking the bait, and with that, they also lure newbie investors to buy the coins just like what happened to the squid game coins back then, there are lots of people fell victims to it.

All altcoins cannot performed well in coming Bull run therefore we cannot agree that new coins will be able to give us good revenue. XRP, BNB, SOL, matic and ethereum are all good coins so instead of checking the activity of new coins try to save your money by investing in old one.
Bitcoin is most attractive coins among other crypto coins but people try to increase their investment in short time by diversification of investment in specific altcoins. Altcoins can offer you huge return but if you decide to buy more profitable coin and if someone invest in new coins which have no future then it will be difficult for you to take out revenue from it.
Indeed, instead of looking for another new altcoin why stick to the popular one. That is more profitable than new altcoins and we all know that not all new altcoins can follow the this coming bull. So for me and for the other who use this message as a guide or reference, I will go for the BNB, SOL, XRP, and Ethereum. I've been here since 2017 and I know Bitcoin since 2016 so why settle for less, right? If you want to earn then go for the Alts we said.

Also, invest at your own risk. No one push you to invest, it is for your greater good.

The old ones that have stood the test of time, I think will still be fun to invest as it has more potential than the new which could just be a scam. Choosing carefully is strongly advised for this or the team of dev will just be dumping the tokens to its investors.

Old ones are still a safer investment as OP mentioned but there are more that you as an investor will have to sell too in the time when the bears are about to take over.

I think that we should make the best use of this moment. Namely by choosing coins that already exist, are popular, and have high potential. it's best to focus on bitcoin and popular altcoins, because chances are, their prices will rise when a bullrun occurs.
Actually, it's not a problem to try to find potential new coins, but focusing on the portfolio we create is the main priority to get maximum profits. Yes, but maybe some people want to look for new, cheap altcoins with great potential, but the risk is that the profits they get may not be optimal, or they won't even make a profit.

I hope you realized that not every altcoins newly introduced do get to the peak of its performance as expected, some fail along the way while some do extremely well in making their Investors proud of them, we just have to consider the two sides altogether before making a complete decision on which yo take, as for me, i will prefer going for the ones i know already exist and are trusted, then invest only the amount i can afford to loose on other new altcoins projects.

I agree with what you said, if an investor has the capital then there's nothing stopping him from investing in the top and new altcoins, altogether. Like you, I'll also advice to give preference to the trusted altcoins, then invest what he can afford to loose on new altcoins. No doubt that new altcoins, are more profitable in the short term, but you don't know how long they will last in the market, they can diminish with your capital while you're waiting for them to increase more in value. But with top altcoins like ethereum, they might not promise 20× pump, but you're certain of your ROI. Bitcoin, remains at the very top, indisputable.

The flow of money would probably look like this,
1. BTC
2. Established alts
3. Low cap alts
4. Microcaps or new alts

Going all in on a new alt is a dangerous proposition. My suggestion is to try to follow that flow or try to accumulate as early as now. You'll probably earn whichever alts you choose on a bullrun but the point is maximizing how much you can get and minimize the chances of getting burned from pumps and dumps or rugpulls.

Glad you said higher risk is attached because that's what it is. Well, if I were to try out altcoins (but am not going to), then it would be to invest in some new and old projects, just so that you would not be at a total loss. If the new projects fail to yield profit, hopefully the old ones will. I stopped being a fan of altcoins for now because I have experienced more losses. I am not usually too lucky to invest in the right project that will not dump drastically without yielding any profit; I was only lucky with a few.

Well, don't invest in altcoins blindly because you want to seek those coming to the market for the first time. Make sure there's a usecase they've; at least one use case, and not some fancy crypto gimmick waved around them. Sometimes, it's really dicey dishing out what token/coin one is buying or hodling because one doesn't know the state of minds of those assimilating what one says here. This is so no one turns around tomorrow to blame others for the supposed advice if it goes sour. For me, I'm hodling some launchpad tokens and waiting patiently for the rally to kick in proper or IDOs to set up. It's a win-win.

Bitcoin is incomparable with other coins the matter how best they are. Then Ethereum is also nice to invest in  it since you are saying New virgin coin that have the promising future to invest in and I will tell you to look into those new coins that were laughed recently and select the one that is good for you to invest. But if you must invest it is better to invest the well known ones first and then later you can invest in the newbies. And I believed Eloncoin vvam also be tried out. Though it is not compulsory but just a suggestion.

There are lots of altcoins just came to the ecosystem which will be bullrun in their first time in this season of the market. Invest wisely.

In scenarios like this, let's not include this Bitcoin given, then proven and tested among long-term investors. Let's just stick to altcoins that can give us big profits in the future.

But the only problem is, what if the crypto we choose to invest in is wrong? So in this situation, it is still necessary to do your own research (DYOR). so that our capital investment is not wasted. As long as my top choice is always the top 30 listed altcoins.

Personally I also agreed that the best bet is investing in a new credible altcoin however the task of scrutinizing and making research of selecting the genuine altcoins out of the numerous new ones for investment is the major issue, as an investor you needed to be picky in your selection to avoid investing blindly in any new altcoin this is very necessary so that when the price of Bitcoin eventually peaked and followed by massive altcoins bullrun I believe those new altcoins you invested on would also enjoy the bullish run too consequently churning out some reasonable profits for their investors too.

I have maximized my bitcoin portfolio now , so maybe I can extend my altcoins folio , but I don't think I can add new projects? have plans in investing in Solana and Cardano  more , together with Ripple but still having second thoughts because either of those or I will add more to my Ethereum and Binance instead.
decisioning this bullying market is harder to put because I think there is a need to give small time and yeah invest when the market dumps down.

Greater profits may arise from fortunate investments in new altcoins. In my view, diversifying between new and established altcoins is prudent. The principle of not putting all your eggs in one basket applies to investments. It's wise to invest only what you can comfortably afford to lose.
