This is simple supply and demand economics I'd have thought you'd have at least the very basic grasp of. Seems not.

It was quite clear from the start that ETC was simply a pump and dump scheme. Yes, it was on a whole different level than what we have seen before due to all the free money that was involved and all the profit seekers taking huge risks.

The thing is, ETC has no fundamentals like ETH. They don't have the developers, they don't have the investors, they don't have the news. They only had the hype.

They do have developers, and they have the promise to not hard fork when the next smart contract holding millions gets "hacked", also it may go PoW while ETH goes ETH. Enough difference to justify its existence and prosper.

The hacker will not dump, this is FUD that ETH foundation mafia will use to try to keep pushing the price down.

I agree with this, any huge drop in big coins like this have always been a good opportunity for the whales to accumulate that particular coin and pump it right afterwards or ever at the very least sell on the dead cat bounce and earn a good profit.

I don't know why people like OP are trying to differentiate between ETC and ETH they are both the same pump and dump altcoin being pump and dumped by the same whales who only care about their own profit. the only reason ETC is low and ETH is not is that ethereum foundation is doing their best to push the price down and keep their own price up. and that is all!
