We can't predict the future, but with detailed analysis and to many people's expectations this coin can be $100 by the end of the year.
The main problem etc they never found different from eth or how to surpass them. I then gathered information about ETC and found nothing except that they boast that they are on the original chain.

Here's nice analysis on ETC/BTC in case anybody is getting anxious from the (mostly) sideways action. Try zooming out the chart to show at least a 6 month time frame and see ETC's trend is only starting, unlike some of the other altcoins that looks like they're already peaking out.

Time to board the train. Wait there is an airdrop / hardfork? I have been neglecting to look at ETC for so long I only have now realized that it is at $25! This project really looks like another one I should have paid attention to, but I do wonder if people will always look at it like the abandoned original child of Vitalik Buterin. Looks tempting but I will admit I have much to learn and catch up with the prospects of Ethereum Classic. You just never know, with the right mix of capable development and stability,,, I do find it strange I hear so little about it.
Because u don't find any info about successful ICO projects on ETC network, also they don't have 1 stable token format ( as ERC20 on ETH). So, maybe after we will see new ETC format and new sidechains like Callisto, we will see big pump on CLassic.

Currently ETC (ethereum classic) is in the top 20 of the coinmarketcap ETC could reach $ 100 by October 2018 as electronic money is growing. The 4.0 revolution allows electronic money to exchange goods in the world in the fastest way
The ETC has low hashing rate, so it is quite vulnable to certain attacks. I still say it is not possible and the reason is very simple apart from ETC being the same crappy code as ETH and having lots of bugs and problems, there is always going to be a big roadblock on the way to go up and that roadblock is called Ethereum foundation. ETC is like a thorn in their eye. The don't want to ever see it succeed and they own about 70+ million ethereum which was doubled so they have the same amount on ETC after the fork and history has proven that they will dump to prevent the rise and then use the money to pump ETH
Etc is a pump coin because for sure it will reach the price of $100 before the end of this year 2017 but no one know what is the true price of ETC in this year. But I hope the price of EtC will hit $100 if that happen I make a lot of profit and more people for sure become intant millionaire because they can rean a lot of profit by selling their etc

i'm holding some etc and i can say that 100$ is a reasonable cap, if we come back in a bullish trend in few weeks we can go there or even highter, before the crash of the last week etc was starting it's pump, it arrived almost at 50$ but then everything crashed and etc followed, now it's slowly recovering and i hope soon will start to skyrocket, it deserve it
Predictions for unique altcoins like ETC are very difficult, because they can happen anytime. Even with big waves on market, ETC may jump up to 40% higher than they are today. I think, when bitcoin increases to $25K, then ETC would be easy to traverse $100.
I agree with that. That will happen when there is more usage of ETC.

Launch of Callisto sidechain - it's a big reason for ETC pump, u can remember what happen with NXT before IGNIS airdrop, it go up 15x times, so ETC can make something similar (not x15, but easy x5-x7 from current price), also Callisto will have hybrid system - Pos + Pow and a lot of holders will wanna it.

And you will be surprised once that you see the replies that you are going to get, since they all are going to tell you that it will go towards $100.

I recently got in on ETC again. It's one of the high volume cryptos that hasn't really moved amid all the craziness. It seems to have reached its lows and is slowly accumulating (which is good). I think getting in before it breaks .0003 BTC could be a low risk, decent reward situation.

my friend etc 100 bucks do not worry but when? I think the answer to this question will be within 2 years. but I keep away from people so much. I took it but I waited so long and the price was always down my morale broke
Just because your 'morale broke' doesn't mean it isn't going up this time around. With the new Callisto air drop coming on the first week of March or so, ETC will be in the spotlight for a little while for the next 6 weeks.
And notice that ETC/BTC is still at the bottom of the trend, with lots of increase in volume. That means whales are loading up guys...
Look at it this way see history prices of both and do the comparison.
Currently ETH is around 1k and ETC 33$ so x30 difference.
You need x3 for ETC to 100$ so x3 on ETH would be around 3k.
But if ETH developing goes further than difference will be greater.
