Seems people are not hyping that BAKKT launch, price had not rise consistently and it's not good.
We are still in the bear period though we are in the new year but this year is still long since we are in the first month still, and I believe lots of good news will come that would definitely change the status of the market.

For Bitcoin I see two scenarios , If we see a good bounce back after the next dip to $2600-$2800 I will take it as the bottom. But if that support is broken We going to see $1800 s .But it won't stay long there for sure. For Ethereum who knows may be $50 or even $14 at the worst case.

The year is extremely young so any kind of prediction will not be based on facts and instead will be based on our beliefs and expectations about bitcoin and ethereum, but if I were to make a prediction then I suppose the lowest price for ethereum could be 100, this is because I am really expecting a correction of the price during the next weeks or months that will allow ethereum to recover some of the lost ground but then a decrease in the price will happen since the market is still weak, so it is possible we will go back to that price.

Lot of people want to pump up again bitcoin in this year. But if you see ethereum get pumping slowly but in bitcoin steady and not rising up. Maybe it it's just finding some days to increase up because of investors and traders they hold for the price.

Being impressed by the downtrend of 2018, you can easily believe in a new bottom.

Is it possible that ethereum will replace bitcoin? I don't think this would be possible if indeed bitcoin would not be replaced by other altcoins. there will be market noise if bitcoin is truly replaced.

The bottom had already been touched in 2018. There is no way the bottom has never been reached with the very strong plunge that happened in the previous year. The dumps happened one after another. The deficit made in the 12 months of red market reached as high as 70 percent or more. The all time low prices have been recorded in the year 2018. A year of consistent dumps is not usual. Because of that, I am strongly convinced that after such a long winter, a beautiful spring is waiting in the current year. This year, it is not about the bottom prices, it is all about the new all time high records.
