I'm continously watching eth market it's going down and down even if btc is some stable near 12k, is it probably due to high dominance of btc over market, touched ATH dominance almost 70%, means all buyers willing for btc not alts that's the reason of alts bleeding, I'm thinking to hold my eth for now because i hope it'll back again. Not sure about other alts.
ETH didn't showed much progress after the bear sleeps but bitcoin actually climbed three times more than the actual low value of this year so if you still want to hold on ETH you need more time than holding them in bitcoin.

Holding of Ethereum is best option, then holding of bitcoin. Because bitcoin is best one for the short time profit and Ethereum is good to hold for the long period. If you want to get short time huge profit, you can inverse your money in bitcoin. If you compared only the altcoin, Ethereum is best option.
Bitcoin is good for all kind of investment since it has got the volatility and also increasing price chart in years.

Let’s see where this is heading. In my opinion, Eth and other Alt will see a rise in their prices soon after the halving of BTC is happened as more and more people are concentrated on BTC as of now. And I think this is a good time to buy some more Eth to get benefited from this dip.
the altcoin session will come soon, after investors get bored seeing bitcoin going up alone, then investors turn to aiming for altcoin to invest, so that with the profits made on bitcoin, they can buy more altcoin. and ethereum to become the main choice for investing, because this altcoin can provide the second highest confidence after bitcoin

Yes, the market now prefers to buy bitcoin. But I thought it was the right time to buy Eth, because ether was underestimated. I have ETH in my portfolios and I don’t even worry about the price drop because I know that this coin will always be in demand.

I hold several Ethereums at the moment and my portfolio shows a few percent declines due to falling ETH prices, I'm surprised at the current market because the dominant BTC is higher and the altcoin hasn't been given a chance to rise

There should be some strong reason behind this fall. Only people like us does not understand that. Its always a nature of a small trader to get things realized after the event has already happened.

As we have seen after a long time observing ETH, it is very difficult to develop prices even though many people expect ETH because of their great quality and potential. Of course all think and find out what is the cause but it is difficult to explain, I assume that Crypto is not in good condition but on the contrary if the digital currency is legalized soon, Crypto will rise again, especially BTC and ETH on the wind.

What does it mean? A better opportunity to buy Ethereum than Bitcoin. Bitcoin is too expensive, while altcoins are on the lowest levels, so why you should buy Bitcoin instead of altcoins?

Yes, the market is currently dominated and ruled by BTC and Eth is showing a downfall like all other ALT. Hopefully, by the end of this year, Eth will have a rise in its price after BTC halving is done.

I really don't care too much about the price of ETH compared to BTC. In the short term, BTC and ETH may increase or decrease in opposite directions. But in the long term, the BTC increases, ETH will also increase. If the BTC is gold, then ETH will be silver.
and now the BTC is growing quite strongly, if ETH drops in price, I will continue DCA to buy more ETH at a lower price.

Its been too long that Eth had stayed below $300. I haven't thought it will drop down that low from $1000 before but it actually went deeper below $100 last year. Hoping it will recover this year. Still good to buy and accumulate now.

ETH now is not popular crypto.
Last years ICO hype kept the price despite another postpones of updating network.
Now community see what eth dont need more, now we can buy on IEO for btc direct

If ETH is not popular then it would be the second coin behind Bitcoin. What happen to ETH was due to the investors reacting to the sentiments of the market. It did touch it's all time high in early 2018, unfortunately several projects started to dump and continue up to May that year that took the toll on ETH and so it haven't recover.

And then there is competition like Binance (BNB) mainnet and then XRP as well. That two alone is already a big project facing ETH right now, but it doesn't mean that the community doesn't need it. There will be time that ETH will bounce back but I don't expect it to happen this year.

Just like I would advise that you never joke with bitcoin, it is the same way that I would advise that you also do not joke with Ethereum also because Ethereum is a project with very great prospects, they might be having some challenges right now with their prices, but they will eventually come out of it.

Altcoins season is generally being affected by one common factor which is the dominance of bitcoin which we all know, and the most time of bitcoin dominance, this is what we are always seeing of altcoins too. I believe strongly that altcoins will come out of these downtrend soon, cannot say if it will be this year because I see bitcoin remaining market dominance for the rest of the year but I am very sure that year 2020 will definitely speak in favor of altcoins holder.

Eth below 0.018btc

That is lower as price was in March 2016 so three years and a half ago. Most people having ethereum now did not even know it exist back then.   60 million or more then half of ether in existance, was bought at $0.31. You can imagine where bottom is then.

I think buy more at lower price to DCA, you'll get more when price go up even not equal to the first time's price.
DCA Is a very considerable option in this bloody market.
I'm selling every thing to DCA> hope for a brighter future.

The lack of new ICOs and the fact that the old ICOs have failed, is of course a reason why ETH is where it is now. But honestly, I think it's mostly due to the entire alt market.

Everything is down, not just ETH. In fact, ETH may be holding up better than a lot of other coins. The best thing for ETH and probably all alts is for BTC to fall back a bit into a consolidation pattern for a couple of months.

I think it requires a lot of improvements to reach back on what it used to be. Difference is back in the day when someone wanted to use dapps and make a new game they used ethereum, when they wanted to create a new coin they used ETH ico format, when they wanted to do anything basically they used ETH and that made the price go up really high, there was a demand for it for paying ICO which was in billion dollar at one month and not all ICO's sold it right away.

Of course, with time ICO's died and owners kept on selling whereas investors stopped funding which made it go down. Nowadays we have NEO, EOS, TRON and many more for the dapp part of the deal whereas we have Binance chain and IEO hype going around for the new coin printing deal which both makes ethereum fall and not go up to what it used to be.

Somehow every altcoins is bleed to death despite the gains bitcoin has made in the recent weeks.Ethereum growth in price is critical if we are to see an altcoin bull season. It seem likely however that we are going to see bitcoin dominance of over 70℅

BTC is getting stable around 11k. Now I don't think that BTC will cross the dominance level more than 75% in the upcoming days in this year. That means people will get less profit margin in from BTC. SO the next thing after the BTC is still the ETH. So we can hope that ETH will do best in the last quarter of this year.
