we do not know the future holds about ethereum, or what will be the future of altcoins, token but if we continue supporting ethereum it is possible to hit that target and who knows it could surpass $500usd.
ETH price passed $500 a few days ago and now it is around $450. It is pretty normal that the price of crypto coins fluctuates up and down with big swing. It may come back to $500 anytime.

Of course it can. And I think it will be so. I'm not sure that this growth will be to the end of current year, but in the 1 quarter of the next it will be any case.
Last week Ether was above $505 and it is still going back to reach that price. I think before the end of the year Ether will trade above $500.

It's very hard to predict price in Cryptocurrency. Personally I like the ethereum project, a strong team and great market potential. Even with a lot of competition upcoming, it stands as the best utilised smart contract public chain. Once the prototype of scaling has feasibility proven, I think the platform value should increase greatly and hopefully the value of ether too
