I have one nitro rx 480 / 8Gb on test bench for ETH/DCR mining bios mod test with the lower power consumption as i can go with dual mining.
29.2 - 29.3 MH/s on ETH , 849MH/s on DCR , with 177 watts power usage ( real power at the wall ) , the same time GPU-z reporting 110 watts ...

My GTX 1060 3 GB one Palit and one Gainward do 21.15 Mhash on Ethereum plus about 416 Mhash in Decreed.

My GTX 1070 8 GB Gigabyte does 29.5 Mhash on Ethereum plus almost 500 Mhash on Decreed.

Still I would say not worthy as 416-500 Mhash is only worthy 0.16-0.20 USD more but the watt consumption increases a lot more than 0.20 USD per day, at least in my case.

When I am dual mining, my GTX 1060 go from 85-90 watt when mining only Ethereum to about 115 watt when I dual mine. Same thing happens with my GTX 1070. That's why I recommend single mining as hash rate is better, 22.5 Mhash for my 1060 3GB overlclocked and 30 Mhash for my 1070.

A 1070 should get 30+ MH/s on ETH and ~500 MH/s on DCR dual mining. Try adjusting the -dcri value in the Claymore miner to around 50.

Ok, I’m getting around 235mh for ETH and about 2000 for DCR with my 8X1070 Windows 10 rig. OC is about 100% power, +91 core clock and +512 men clock. But I’m not sure if it Par hash rates.

I just started mining ETH + DCR. I’m running with 8X 1070 in Windows 10 rig. ETH in ethermine.org and the decred is in supernova pool. I’ll let you know my hashrate in couple of hours once it’s stable enough.

That's a real good hashrate! Have you modded your BIOS, etc. to achieve such hash rate? For my RX 580 and RX 570, I get hash rate of 22 Mh/s and 18 Mh/s.

Would appreciate if you can share some details. Thanks.

Yes, a simple strap mod using the Uber Mix v3.1 timings for the Samsung memory cards and the 1500 timing copied to the higher timings on the Hynix cards. That with 1150 MHz core clock and a 2050-2075 MHz memory clock with a -96 mV undervolt in Afterburner should get you to 28-29 MH/s with ~920 MH/s DCR for the RX 480/580 cards and ~740 MH/s with the RX 470/570 cards.

Thanks. Will try it @ home later today. Btw, while doing the BIOS mod, do you apply them one card at a time, i.e. disconnect all other cards in your rig? Or all other cards can be connected, but only make changes to one card at a time and then restart after applying the mod and patching it and then move to the next card.

Just want to make sure, what is the most stable way to mod the GPU BIOS.

If the cards are all exactly the same, then Atiflash will index up to 3 cards at a time. If the cards are different I would do them one at a time and remove all others to make sure you mod the right card. You can leave the cards on the riser to do the Bios mod. After you mod the cards, you will be prompted to restart. Lots of videos on youtube and guides online on how to do it. If you use Windows, after you mod the Bios you may need to use the pixel patcher to disable the Bios signature check, otherwise you will get a code 43 GPU error in Device Manager.

That helps, thanks a lot!

One more question, for 4 GB RX 470/480/570/580 cards, I should copy 1500 timing and for 8 GB cards, it should be 1750 timings. Is that correct? I noticed that you mentioned for Hynix cards, copy 1500 timing instead, were you referring to 4 GB cards or that also applies for 8 GB cards with Hynix memory?

Where do you send the DCR mined, just to a wallet like you would ETH?

I use the supernova pool (https://dcr.suprnova.cc) where you fill out the payout adress in your account settings.

Yes, I use the Decredition wallet. You could also use an exchange wallet address.
