I had a transaction worth about 4k stuck for 4 days. I was sweating bullets. Transaction not found. As the price came down in the gas station my transaction finally went through. Even if the network clogs from time to time Ethereum is an awesome technology.
What do you guys think about this Gas price surge since Saturday I think. I have been monitoring gas price the whole day today and gas price is ranging from 40 gwei - 75 gwei. This will affect ICO and bounty distribution as they will get high fees in transferring tokens to other wallets. I just hope it becomes normal again like 8 gwei - 10 gwei per transaction.
The gas price hike has taken its toll on bounty distributions, there had been several complaints of non distribution of tokens citing problems from the network congestions by the companies, a bounty distribution had been prosponed till August I think high gas price is attributed to the non compliance to scheduled date of the distribution.
The reason why whole #ETH network gas fee is so high. FCoin GPM listing forces all candidate companies to use massive gas fee to airdrop to FCoin accounts to create that deposit vote number. Each day top 5 gets listed, then count from 0 again. Is this sustainable?
That is really devastating because all earnings will accumulated for a longer period of time will be taken a huge GS fee and most of the investors will not glad about that for sure because of huge expenses.
Ethereum gas price has been really high for the past few days, and it has been a barrier to certain transactions for some persons. However, I read just yesterday that the prices had returned to normal, and I want to believe that it is so, cos I haven't checked for myself.

Yes, gas prices are so high that we have to pay more to transfer tokens or Eth. This is unusual, as it affects the distribution of bounty and ICO tokens, many of which have been delayed. I heard that due to the effects of exchange Fcoin, it is bad to pay too much or cannot move with long pending time.
Today the price of ETH Gas increased once again. I tried to send my coin to the Coinex exchange, but apparently, the transaction was completely blocked today. Hopefully, the MEW wallet will try to fix it and lower the gas prices down
It is like bit expensive now a days because coins are still on recovery moment but when coins and some Altcoin is on their peak price, the gas is just small amount to lose when you transfer some coins per batch to exchange..

this is what people are concerned about, with rising gas prices feared to have an impact on new ICO projects that will transfer tokens and distribute their tokens, if an increase in gas prices will affect it all, in the future the ICO project will search and choose to use other platforms, and I do not want that to happen because for me Ethereum has been trusted by many that this altcoin will be good for the future, so Ethereum must be able to maintain its trust.
The ETH network has been jammed for a very long time because of too many transactions in a short time.

this is what people are concerned about, with rising gas prices feared to have an impact on new ICO projects that will transfer tokens and distribute their tokens, if an increase in gas prices will affect it all, in the future the ICO project will search and choose to use other platforms, and I do not want that to happen because for me Ethereum has been trusted by many that this altcoin will be good for the future, so Ethereum must be able to maintain its trust.
Yeah, I hope so too. Some project can't even distribute tokens for bounties and airdrops to the participants. That's not good for anyone.
There used to be a system blockage in view of the cryptokitties thing, now this high charge and another system clog, this will happen over and over as a result of the ico and airdrop, the main positive side is there will be no more airdrop, well hopfully.
There's still plenty of airdrop out there even if they paid for an expensive gas for fee they still doing it anyway. But as I heard that vitalik is trying to solve this scalability issue in his twitter is such a relief, if the system could overcome this then Im pretty sure that in the future ETH will be the most scalable coin out there.What is now overloaded the network?
180 for a normal transaction, that is HUGE and i am more than sure in that there are a lot of people trying to move out of ethereum at the moment, becuase this is a garbage and i would not even pay two bucks for a transaction at the moment, no way

Gas price unbelievable high now. I heard that it was due to voting on Fcoin exchange. I hope Ethereum team will do something with the network to avoid such situation in the future.
This was the reason most of us moved from using bitcoin for all transactions because of the high fee and ethereum is now facing same..
