I am already tired of these expensive transactions on Ethereum blockhain and everyone is already tired of waiting when Ethereum developers will solve this problem and if this problem will not be solved soon, then I think even more people will use other blockchains for various transactions, so I hope Ethereum 2.0 will be able to solve this problem which has been going on for a year or maybe more.

If I were you knowing that the ethereum price gas is so volatile especially that ethereum is pumping recently, I suggest that you instead of getting to annoyed of the high gas price wait for it to get lower so that you can transfer what ever you wanted for a low cost.

When will this madness end?
Who is willing to pay such amounts for a transaction?

Look at coinmarketcap, all coins bleed.
I think the increase in gas prices is caused by panic sellers, people see the price of bitcoin and other altcoins have a very sharp decline, people are racing to quickly sell their tokens on uniswap, the bigger the gas price the faster transactions are processed. I am sure this will not last long, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow the gas will return to normal as before.

It's normal if Ethereum gas fee increase because Ethereum is pumping presently, even Tron gas fee is no more the same amount, it's gas fee has increased since Tron cross over 0.02$, if you want a cheaper gas fee you need to wait for few more days or wait till Eth2.0 get launched in December

People should maybe think about using L2 Rollup solutions like OMG, zksync or Loopring etc. Even Vitalik is supporting them and ETH 2.0 scalability will rely on these kind of solutions.

Can someone explain why my ETH gas fees are different from what is shown here? Maybe this is due to cryptocurrency price drops 4-6 hours ago? But as far as I see, the situation is getting better.

If not playing with setting manual gas amount, the prices above are regular to me and with Low I'm always getting my transactions completed with 1 hour. Maybe because I dont make usually lots of transactions, but the price of <1$ seems sweet to me.

Just use other altcoin man. Current fee is really mad that it doesn't make sense for people to make some small transaction. ETH ugprade is still long way to go aswell so if you really need to make transaction the best course of action is just switching over.

Current fee only viable for people who moves huge amount of money. The small fries got their transaction taxed by the high fee and left with half of the amount it's insane.
The upgrade should start in 5 days, the Phase 0. Transaction fee on exchanges is fixed and somehow with some exchanges, most of this high transaction is from ethereum wallets and decentralized exchanges, so you can use other altcoins there. I can easily sell my ethereum to Tron on exchange and transfer to save money then buy back on another exchange. Sometimes if one delays this transaction for few hours it gets low, so if it is not immediate delay or rather keep some on exchanges

Yes, I also see that the current price of ETH gas is very high, and I also don't know how long it will take to get back to normal, hopefully it will end soon with ETH 2.0. I think for now everyone will not dare to transact with ETH if the gas costs are high like this, maybe they move it by buying another Altcoin and then selling it with that Altcoin in exchange.

Honestly I was shocked this morning when I saw this too

Anyways December 1st is almost here, hopefully vitalik buterin will keep his promise of launching eth2.0, I'm sure this will reduce the transaction cost alot, we need some patience and endurance now.

This madness will never end until there will be a new implementation through forking ethereum chain to increase the scalability of ethereum.
We have expected this to be done through ethereum 2.0 and yeah that looks so crazy to pay a few dollars for a single transaction. The traffic was getting so crowded caused by people were shorting ethereum market.
The flash dump that happened with bitcoin was giving a huge impact to the panic sells that happened in ethereum too.

Gas costs incurred for ETH transactions, which are among the highest costs currently incurred, were several months ago.

Don't know when this ends, like it or not if you make a transaction with ETH that's the risk you accept.
Everyone complains about the exhaust gas, just hope everything returns to normal as usual at normal prices, that's all I can say, can't do much.

Who knows, but I'm sure it will go back to lower fees and go back again to higher fees. It would be best if you had the patience to wait for it to come at a lower fee, or else you don't have the choice like the other sender right now who needs to send their ethereum balance to another wallet.
