I think that ether will increase in price after the new year, the whole market suffers from cheap prices but it will be green again and I will keep my coins till this period of time, which we need to wait for

where did you get that bottom already? see that tomorrow to 150 did not fall, and after tomorrow to 100. the market now perfectly shows that the bottom can be pierced

I don't think its the bottom, we might see another drop in price if there's a avalanche of ICO investors dumping their tokens in the next coming months. So its going to be a real struggle for ETH to even go just above $100. My plan is just to keep waiting and don't do stupid move otherwise its going to be a disappointment. Well, $1K is possible, but you have to keep it like 1 or 2 years to reap the rewards.
At this point im not even looking at alt coins from a technical point of view. Ethereum is in a massive downtrend which will only get worse. The only way for ethereum and alt coins to recover is a bitcoin bull break followed by a change in the weekly trend for bitcoin which would cause a massive short squeeze and push bitcoin probably up to 10k. At that point alt coins will start to recover slowly. Right now I wouldn't want to hold many alt coins, there are some cases out there like dogecoin which saw massive gains but at this point it's gambling.

I wish you luck! I would also like that the price would once again return to $ 1000, but I do not believe it. I'm more worried about the fact that the crypto currency can disappear altogether. Now it is more important to save what has already been created
Sort of in the same boat as a lot of people here...... bought on the way down and hoping this is the new bottom. Sort of sweating at this point but I knew the risks I took when investing. Going to just hold at this point and not look at the price for a long time.

Honestly downtrend is real and it could take few years for the situation to sort out and for bulls to pick up again. How I view things there is a high chance that it could dump even more. Not to mention that Vitalik said something like you won't see any huge raise in future which can pull people to sell even more. If you are ready and prepared to wait. Good luck! But just quick note that Ethereum is not alone as a platform for dApps and there is none that is vastly used by people to push ETH adoption rn. Of course it could pick up its old price. Even BTC in 2013 dumped hard and recovered.

I am holding 2.50 ETH which I had bought at $300. Now I am planning to buy another 3 ETH if the price hits $150. I think $150 will be a good support factor for now. If it goes lower than $150, I will sell all of my ETHs. Same here..bought about 4.23 ETH at $262, and I'm forced to hodl even though in huge losses now. I'm equally not buying any further until I get further confirmation of a buy. $150 seems like a good support zone, will observe it then

Kidding aside, it is a very stressful time for eth holders out there to see their portfolio going down and this would be the greatest test for them not to give up as we all know that there is no other way but UP when the dip hits the bottom. A very dangerous, howbeit ambitious move. The funny thing is that no one knows low it would go. I've personally put a hold on buying until I get confirmed signals it's bottomed out
Maybe that's what we can only do for the current price of ETH at $ 174. We can't blame anyone, we have to be smart in taking the opportunity to invest in ETH, we just have to have the courage between getting big profits or only the losses that will be made in invest. And that's the risk of a trader.

Many failing ICOs are currently selling their ETH to ensure that they have enough cashflow.
I don't really expect this to stop any time soon, so I'd say you might have been able to buy ETH for even less.

i don't know if the bottom is in for real but buying ethereum around these levels is a good idea while keep on laddering down you could set yourself up for some real gains down the line that is if you have the patience to wait for it because i don't think anyone knows how long this bear market will last but fortune favors the brave.
