I bought into the ICO and sold when it went 4x. I should have held because if I did then I would be a millionaire right now..  Embarrassed

Back then there was a lot of FUD being directed at Eth so I figured I made my profits and time to leave. Oh well..

What a story!!! I saw the chart how cheap was the Ethereum in their first months and how far has it gone in the recent month, it's just unbelievable.

I just don't want to read the same story after few years if ethereum price will be something like bitcoin price now.

he gave away the opportunity of lifetime....

first chance was early bitcoiners... now ethereum....

what's next ?  Huh Huh Huh Huh

If it is for sure ethereum then we should take care and invest in this coin because as I see there is a huge potential to be increased in the future if this trend continues.

I didn't expected ethereum to be such a successful coin neither seeing it at this stage, other potential coins can be times/icn etc.

I bought like 40 ether when it was around $11. Then sold it around $12.
Ether is one of my worst regrets, really. I never really followed it and expected big.

Always always hodl a gud healthy bag of ETH and don't listen to the Spoetniktards out there trying to convince you to sell out cheaply. They are jealous, technically illiterate and financial poor. Sadly they want everyone else to be like them. Sorry to hear about your loss. You should consider getting into MAID next. It's still cheap enough and hodls great upside potential.

The poor are poor for a reason.  Usually their financial decisions are dictated by impulse like eating at every restaurant they see and spending their welfare check / payday on cigarettes and lotto tickets.  Impulse selling after 400% ROI.

Yeah 400% ROI is great for blue chip investments but this isn't blue chip.  Even real estate can go up more than 400%.

We need to be very careful when dealing with our crypto wallets because the loss of their keys means the loss of our money. They're build to make virtually impossible to break their security. Keep the phrases in a safe place and enjoy the current rise in price! (And buy more ETH, if you have the money).

When I was starting this post:
About 2 months ago, when eth cost $16, I've watched a video about it on youtube and bought 1 eth immediately. Since then I was writing and watching some stuff about ethereum and cheering up everyday, because the price was growing. Today, to my utmost surprise, eth has reached $100. I recalled that when I bought eth I thought I'd withdraw those $16 I spent on it when the price reaches $100. So, today I decided to access my wallet for the first time since then. I didn't remember for sure on which website I got a wallet but I was quite sure it was myethereumwallet.com. So, I entered the site and found it hard to understand, how to log in. It offers to log in via private key, mnemonic phrase and other things like that. I only have my login, password and adress. Does this mean that I made a great (although a small one) investment and messed everything up since I don't have my private keys?
A few minutes later: whew, I just found out that I had a wallet on another site and successfully accessed it. LONG LIVE ETHEREUM!
How many of you bought eth when it cost less that $20 then?
Edit: Found out I won't be able to sell 0.017 eth though but that's okay.

Bought some ETH last summer when price was crashing because of DAO hack. Still sitting on great profits  Grin

Ethereum is the darling of the market presently, but I believe projects like Rootstock and Tezor will snatch the market share. Though price always comes from speculation I will wait to see which of these dapps on Ethereum get mainstream adoption

I had the option of buying it when it was under $1. I missed that bus and regret it to this very day.

You are lucky enough that you can access your wallet after several months. Hope next time you have to backup your wallet in a safe place. It is a good story that you have bought eth at a lower price, now its like x5 already.Great investment indeed.

This only proves that if you can invest early in any other crypto's chances are you are going to gain profit. Long term investment is really a thing for early adopters I guess. And also, don't messed your coins though, keep the info safe so that you can access it and smell the sweet success for investing on it early.

Currently ethereum has the bigggest dev pool in blockchain scene. With EEA it will gain tremendous visibility and in 1 year tops there'll be 1mil devs + actively working on ethereum, be it private or public implementation. The beauty is, these private implementations, assuming some members of EEA won't have the need for a public implementation of their blockchain, will benefit the public blockchain aswell since it will all be open source.

Unfortunately, as i've already said, it's a two edged sword. We, the early holders will benefit alot from this. But it will kill the job market. At this pace, in 50 years, most of humanity will rely on basic income and very few will be the lucky ones to still have a job.
