Which one will perform better?
Ethereum will perform better than litecoin and why? there are some reasons for that.
1 first dapps runs smoothly in the ethereum blockchain, Although that network get congestion and it will be fixed as soon as possible until the next fork will come.
2 ethereum hold around 40% of the total crypto transaction. In this case, ethereum was better.
3 people are thinking about the litecoin as an alternative to the bitcoin transaction but maybe they were wrong about that. every altcoin should become an alternative way to the bitcoin.
if the direct comparison of ETH is far superior to litecoin, because ETH is supported by the very popular ethereum platform in cryptocurrency and will make the ETH more and more needed.
but litecoin has a good market with a good volume of trading will make litecoin potentially good in the future.

From my own point bond view, both of them have done and doing great at the moment, but I would go with ETH. Being the 2nd ranked Crypto in CMC, and also, it has more popularity over Litecoin. The face that ethereum serves as a hub for a whole other Altcoins makes it worthwhile.
For long run, I would hold both, but with a higher percentage of ETH.

ETH and Litecoin are both different planet. Each with its uniqueness, and to that I'll surely invest in both. But if I have to choose, I go for Ethereum.

i would go for both!
They are two different technologies,
litecoin is a coin, ethereum is not so both will perform but in their own ways.
Two really solid technologies/coins and both are showing healthy growth atm.
its hard to see them dropping but instead the opposite.

Very nice comment, indeed Ethereum and LiteCoin are two different things,
and in long run I believe both of them will have success.
I had that choice a week ago and I chose Ethereum, I bought 1 ETH for $430.
In that moment I could choose LiteCoin for $100 per 1 LTC. After a week LTC is
x3 and ETH almost x2. Some one would say wrong choice, for short run it is, but
my aim is long run and I chose Ethereum.

To be honest I do not see point of comparison between both coins. If in recent times market has been favoring Litecoin in such a remarkable way, it is rather due to purely speculative questions than to real technical ones, since it seems to me that ethereum is immensely superior to litecoin in practically all fields, and ethereum is called to remain for a long time as the companion and main competitor of bitcoin for the supremacy of the market.

I would go with both... On my portfolio both coins have been performing excellent Smiley If I had to chose one of them then I don't know... I would still split money and put 50/50 in each Smiley That's a wind that can blow both ways ....

In my opinion ETH. It's more advanced, there is a big demand for ICOs and it offers different kinds of innovative features.
The price of LTC partially depends on BTC capacity and the tests of lightening network went fine, so in the near future we can expect lower fees and faster transactions on bitcoin.
I would suggest to have both coins in your portfolio. Something like 10% ltc + 15% eth + some other coins

The answer is easy. Ethereum. Litecoin only had a pump because it's listed in the coinbase app as the cheapest one. Ethereum will go maybe 5x next year maybe even more. Litecoin maybe 0,5x

I agree and I would go for a balanced strategy. Buy both Litecoin and ethereum.

Marked/Followed this topic since it is very hot & interesting.
ETH is pumping to much now, reaching faraway from 4xx which is needed to support other ICO since higher ETH bring stronger pressure to new ICOs.
Look forward to pro sharing their ideas on this topic
