I have never used XRP and have heard that it needs activation fees, meanwhile there is no such thing in btc, I prefer btc over xrp, specially that after LN — fees on btc transactions are much less.

If I need stability and safety I will choose XRP, but if I need high profits I will choose ETH. 2018 shows the stability of XRP, but that means less profit.
I don't think XRP have stability price, if you see the price movement on coinmarketcap XRP price have the same with other altcoin even with ETH price. Also, in the past few month XRP and ETH alwasy overtake each other to take second place. At least this is pointed out XRP price alwasy move and this is means you can get also a lot of profit if you have XRP.

Being one of the top altcoins, both XRP and ETH have a chance to compete with each other, but the reality is, it can never replace Bitcoin, knowing that it has become the currency to be traded in every exchange. No matter what place, who tries to tell, it would be hard to replace the original Cryptocurrency. That’s just my opinion.

Theoretically, the last bitcoin could be mined in 2140. However, we're almost exhausted everything and by 2026 I would say that we will "almost" see all bitcoin mined.
It's not possible to be mined at 2026. You are right that the last bitcoin will be mined in 2140 and that's the correct answer. After each 4 years, rewards got halved. Current rewards is 12.5 BTC per block and it will be reduced to 6.25 on 2020 and 3.125 on 2024, thus it will require all the 2140 to be mined all the bitcoin. You can't complete more than 210000 blocks within 4 years. Daily block is 144 only.

that's just according to your predictions, if I personally find it difficult for XRP to outperform the market more than bitcoin, that is very unlikely! even ethereum, which has a market capitalization above XRP, not necessarily able to replace bitcoin I don't think that will happen.

BTC supplies only 21 million, and now there are 3 or 4 million BTC in the system. even though there is a little more BTC, we will also find it difficult to get BTC. then, it will take a long time. 2024 or 2026 are predicted that BTC supplies will run out.

Theoretically, the last bitcoin could be mined in 2140. However, we're almost exhausted everything and by 2026 I would say that we will "almost" see all bitcoin mined.

we have to think about the prospect of the crypto world in the future, until today BTC has a function to stabilize the crypto world, but what happened if supplies BTC runs out? is there another crypto that can stabilize and maintain the existence of the crypto market?

It's possible that another crypto will born and take over bitcoin. However, bitcoin will still remain as the top coins, no matter what happens to it's supply.

I think ETH or XRP will replace BTC. but my prediction XRP will dominate the market more than ETH, I doubt to ETH after the vitalik left from ETH. on the other hand, XRP always develops its platform every time.

how do you think, will the XRP replace BTC and has a very high value of $ 20K like BTC in 2017?

Not sure if either one of the two will top bitcoin though. As others have pointed out, XRP is a bankers coins so I doubt bitcoin maximalist will just shift on XRP.

BTC will not run out of supply in 2026, it will take more time. It's still far away from now. But the difficulty will increase. Anyway, I don't think anything will replace BTC and of course XRP will not. XRP will be a good investment for next 2 years max and latwr you know people will avoid the centralization. Just look what coinbase users are doing. Everyone deleting their accounts. This will also happen with XRP, today or tomorrow. So, be careful if you are thinking longtime.

I don't think either of the two projects is going to knock Bitcoin off the throne.

But if I have to choose between the two, it's definitely ETH.

XRP is a shitcoin

We cannot imagine if the supply of bitcoin runs out and this will be one thing that is rare and looks expensive. And to replace Bitcoin I don't think it exists, because Eth and XRP still can't move Bitcoin, this altcoin can only shift from one another. All analysis is only an opinion that will not be right and must remain optimistic that bitcoin is still valuable.

No one has been able to replace Bitcoin both ethereum and ripple, ethereum is developing quite well but I don't think it will be able to replace bitcoin in the near future, until now bitcoin is still difficult to slide

ETH had already fulfeild the weekend change to see BTC and XRP, the recent positive news has been continually analyzed. The caution of an analysis is actually mostly due to the over due benefits and short term rise on the price of the currency has been the weekend. at this time confirm the trading opportunities of the strong currency change core to first push BTC and XRP.

Both ETH or XRP are moving ahead in the competition. Both have been able to get second place, now eth remains at second place.

I think if the supply of bitcoin runs out it will make bitcoin expensive and keep spinning. We don't know when bitcoin runs out, but this will still be a good investment tool, the more scarce it is to get, the more expensive the value is.
As a substitute for bitcoin it doesn't seem to happen, the bitcoin community will be strong and will have better development. I don't think that XRP will replace bitcoin, a situation that will provide concrete evidence for this.

Many people believe that the BTC will soon be replaced but I think both ETH and XRP will not be able to replace BTC for at least 5 years.

but what happened if supplies BTC runs out?
Then I only think that the BTC price will be so high to buy and we cannot buy a whole 1 bitcoin if we don't have huge money.

is there another crypto that can stabilize and maintain the existence of the crypto market?
I don't think so because of every coin in the cryptocurrency will depend on traders, market, news, and other things. So we cannot expect any coins can do that.

how do you think, will the XRP replace BTC and has a very high value of $ 20K like BTC in 2017?
Why do you think like that? I don't think XRP can beat BTC and replace the BTC position. Bitcoin will still lead the cryptocurrency and will be a king in the market except if there is a new technology which more better than the blockchain technology and can solve every problem that might happen, but I don't think so. It does not happen for now.

Besides that, we cannot compare ETH or XRP that can be the second position after BTC because each coin came to us which has a different function to make our life easier and simple and each coin will support each other. But lets we wait for what ETH and XRP can do to us, and we will see who will come to be the next coins after BTC.

Ethereum has returned to its original position, which is number two after bitcoin. For me, staying at ethereum is the right choice. I am sure ethereum will immediately fix itself if there is a decline in value.

I'll pick ETH. It's because I'm very skeptical to its future since it's very useful to the industry of cryptocurrency. Then after Constantinople hardfork, it's expected to increase its speed of making transaction per second and could make it cheaper which is what people are looking in using cryptocurrency.

Both ethereum and ripple each have their own advantages as well as bitcoin, but I still doubt whether ethereum or ripple can replace bitcoin in the future because until now there hasn't been any coin that can surpass bitcoin, and bitcoin is still the top coin.

IF this your analysis is based on the market cap and volume, I have doubts that Ethereum and Ripple can replace Bitcoin. Both Ethereum and Ripple have good market cap and volume but I don't think the market value of these coins can not surpass the price of Bitcoin.
