Ethereum is one of the best coins that exist in the cryptocurrency world. I think the price of ether can go up to 10k dollars.
Ether at 5000 I like it very much. In my opinion, by the end of 2018 this threshold will be exceeded.
Ethereum is the queen of crypto currency.So anything is possible in crypto currency market.It is better to hold the ETH till this year end .If the price of Ethereum had raised maximum value at the end of this year.You will get more dollars.This is the reason for people holding ETH for long periods.Don't sell the valuable ethereum at the low price.

If we could go the bull run like last year again, yes as we are at least higher marketcap than the today of the past 1 year
Ethereum is $500+- now, in short to hit $5,000, the marketcap would most likely hit a 10x, where i assume it to be around $2.5~3 Trillion

You are right.Ethereum is the potential one,so the price of Ethereum will reach 5000$ at the end of this year.If you had got any tokens in ICO,you have to convert into Ethereum.So even though the investors inverse in Ethereum,their will be some flow in the Ethereum.This will make the Ethereum live for more years.In 2019,the ETH price may reach 10,000$.
It is possible but will take a lot of time to reach the 5000$ mark. Already the market is kept increasing but we don't how long it is going to take but there is a huge possible chance to increase the ETH price.

Why is this thread self-moderated? It is better if this is open to all, not just to the pro-Ethereum but also to those critics of the Ethereum project. I guess the discussion would be fairer. Anyway, I am one of the solid members of the Ethereum community. Ethereum has already gotten back its $500 value. Within the month, it might get back to $1,000. So, by the end of the year it might be somewhere near $5,000.
I think it might happen, but not in this year. At least only $ 1K in the end of the year considering the movement of ETH is very slow this month.

I think the future of Ethereum is brilliant. Many new coins are using the infrastructure of Ethereum. This strengthens the hand of the Ethereum. ETH could be $ 5,000 in the future

Another prediction based on nothing? There are a lot of useless ICOs, why do you think that only ICOs will raise the price up? Everything is possible to Ethereum. It already proved us that from that very low cost, turned it's price double in less than 3 months. Many are expecting more from Ethereum this year. Better plans & good strategies that's what the Eth developers are doing now.
I dont think etherium will be 5000 this year or ever! , i think around 1-1.5 k is possible. But I hope someday we reach 5000$
I think Ethereum can only grow to $ 2,000 by the end of 2018.And that will bring 400% for me.That will be more then enough for 1 year for me :-)
Well. Its a long target to achieve. With current market status, I do not think that Eth can hit $5000 this year. But I think It will reach $1000 easily end of 2018. It will hit 5k in next year.

I have some doubt here if Ethereum will get to $5000, although one cannot predict correctly what the cryptoworld will bring in the near months. But I can hope for $3000/ETH by end of 2018.
