Ethereum is a project that should be kept in mind for me. Because it looks like we will see much better places in the future when we look at what they did up to this time.

Just holding ethereum could get the best profit out of the same which we cannot expect from any of the other altcoins. If the user is interested in making more earning through what he has in the wallet, but doesn't have the patience to keep hold of it then it is good to make themselves active into trading the one that makes a growth in short term.

In my opinion, investing ethereum is the best you can do right now. Ethereum has a stable price. Although it is currently down, but just hold your altcoin within the next 2 months. According to altcoin and channel observers who discuss altcoin, altcoin prices will return to normal, altcoin prices will slowly rise and toward their peak prices. Do not rush to sell it now, just invest your money to buy ethereum now, then get a lot of profit. While prices are down, buy ethereum as much as possible, is not it a good time to invest ?, Just monitor the market situation and price charts. And predict what will happen. So you will get a lot of money from your investment. thank you

I think that you need to invest some amount in other altcoins and some keep for HODL. ETH is already a very successful project and it can not give too much profit in a short period of time. But it can give a steady and slow growth of your capital.

It is true that ethereum will go high in the next year but it is hard to say how high it will go. There for i would prefer investing in couple of different alt coins that have potential to moon. That would be much more profitable.

I know ETH is going to have a good 2018 but surely it is not going to be the best performer out there. It seems kind of a safe bet.

I am very new to crypto so my portfolio is mainly ETH that I gained with mining, airdrops and quick investments.

So I wonder...

Would you hodl ETH? Or would you invest it in other coin/s in the hope of bigger gains?

Would you go for Smart contracts (WAVES; EOS; NEO) or anonimity coins like monero and forks? Or any from the equihash family?

Ethereum is a very solid altcoin. In fact, at least as far as my own opinion is concerned, Ethereum is the leading coin in the altcoin world. It comes second to Bitcoin. However, I believe that it is best to put your investments into different coins. It is actually what the great majority of crypto investors are doing. Adding Waves and Monero, as you mentioned, is a good move. These two coins will be flying higher in the next year.

If they switch to POS with Casper version, the price will increase too much.

It is better to hold by this time instead of investing on some no future coins. Maybe in 2018 the demand for ethereum will grow up, because of new companies launching an ICO. A long term investment wait until the price of ethereum would be like BTC a big pottential i guess.

I am going to hold my ethereum for a very long time, I think it's one of the safest investment in the crypto world. The price is very stable compared to bitcoin, and this coin is a lot better, faster transaction time, lower fee and they have an actual use case. Ethereum 2.0 is going to be really amazing I cant wait for it

hold the ethereum belonging to invest long term. from the on sale in the near future but only made a profit not how. It is better to invest long term in order to produce something more than it is today.

I would go for anonymity coins, a lot of governments are looking to bring out regulation against crypto or ban it altogether in the near future so the anonymity coins are probably your safest bet for good returns in a world of heavy-handed regulation...

Don't look into Ethereum as a long term investment, as it may not work succesfully as that.

If now then just hold down the first or buy only first ethereum because if according to my view, the coins will be riding high in the year 2018. While the current price is not too high then take advantage of the only existing opportunities.

I think do not sell it full just a little to invest other coins because there are so many potential altcoins also in the market aside from ethereum in the other side ethereum is best to hold for long term to gain more profit from it.

I do agree with you mate... HOLD is the best answer for ETH.. I'm doing the same for BTC... both had a great future,, and I believe I will have a good profit in the future by holding my ETH for now ~

Always hold a lot of Ethereum, it will be worth 100k by the 2030s if it's still around.

Outside of that, diversify a bit and buy some quality alts. Keep at least 50% of your crypto investment in coins that are in the top ten market cap. With the exception of the occasional ponzi of course, never touch shit like bitconnect when temporarily moons.
Ethereum will be the same as neo, the big holders of ethereum can keep their life with only from staking their coin. as you can see how many people are staking their coin to the neo platform and this will be happened to the ethereum too which makes total supply become fixed.

Etherum is and will be second coin to invest after bitcoin, it will try to just break first position on crypto market but bitcoin will be the king with etherum right behind him, so just invest and hodl long term.

Ethereum is the best coin to hold long term right after bitcoin. I don't what you can buy and hold after selling ethereum. You may do risky short term investments but I would suggest anytone to stay instead.
