I don't think there's any comparison, both will give you a win after a long time either way. Generally, traders start to increase ethereum after bitcoin increases in btc/eth pairs. The increase in eth may be a little more, and sometimes they move the other bottoms. The more x Bitcoin does, the more ETH does. maybe more can vary at certain timings, which one does more x.

When comparing just the two, Bitcoin is a clear winner here. Etherum seem to have lost it's cause. Bitcoin has a limited and smaller cap. The price of bitcoin is 15 times larger than that of Ethereum while their effective transaction cost are comparable. Bitcoin is a purely speculative coin with it's strong proof of work network, it's one of the most secure one while Ethereum aims to be a utility token while at current price, the use of it's as utility is not possible. IMO, Ethereum would lose it's place as the 2nd most valuable coin sooner than there would be any competition for bitcoin.

Ethereum is a good token but I think in the future ETH will be replaced by some other coins that have low fee network. As previously stated, ETH has a problem with very high GAS Fees if you want to make some small transactions. Currently I personally prefer to use BNB or Matic network because they have smooth speed and easy to use.

For the majority of ETH users, high fees have always been a problem. To avoid paying for gas, the majority of them have changed networks and are utilizing different altcoins. Although high gas prices have consistently been a problem for Ethereum, there's no denying that it has investment potential, even though it's typically a suitable choice for long-term investments.
Users has been expecting that they could do something to lessen the fees but I think it will still take time for them to pursue it. No wonder why some altcoins are now growing and developing even better than Ethereum. BNB and Matic has been the best options of most users nowadays but I think Ethereum could compete fairly if they can provide the demand of the users.

in this case I think ethereum's has bigger room to grow and develop instead of bitcoin.
I personally believe one day Ethereum can beat Bitcoin in "Capitalization".
Maybe 5 years or 10 years from now.
We will never know.

But I don't think that time will come and it's more likely that Ethereum will be the project that's gonna be gone out of its place if its problem will continue to exist.

That's the high transaction fee and thought of many will be finally solved with all of those upgrades that have been done in the past. However, until now sometimes it seems so high, sometimes not.

Bitcoin is the best coin in crypto. The price is used as a benchmark by alternative coins. When Bitcoin goes up then alternative coins will also go up. And vice versa. So the growth of eth will depend on Bitcoin.

I agree with you, that's why Bitcoin is called the king of cryptocurrency, because Bitcoin is the determinant of cryptocurrency price movements, so if the price of Bitcoin goes up, then the price of altcoin including Ethereum will definitely go up too, but if the price of Bitcoin goes down, then of course the price of altcoin including Ethereum will definitely go down too, therefore I definitely prefer to invest in Bitcoin than Ethereum, because Bitcoin is the safest investment in cryptocurrency and of course Bitcoin will definitely give me a big profit in the future.
In essence Bitcoin is still very influential on the movement of other coins,
talking about Bitcoin and Ethereum I think they are almost the same in general,
for long-term investment the two coins are very feasible and there is no need to hesitate.

I think, ETH and BTC have significant future growth potential, but they have different characteristics and roles in the crypto ecosystem. Ethereum is well-known as a platform for decentralized applications and smart contracts, while Bitcoin has become the most famous and largest cryptocurrency. The growth of both will be influenced by factors such as technology development, use cases, competition, external factors and institutional adoption. Investing in crypto always involves risk, and there are no guarantees or firm predictions about the future growth of ETH and BTC.

During the rise of the market ETH sometimes grows even more than bitcoin. But when the market falls ETH falls more too. Now the biggest problem of Ethereum blockchain is a really big commissions which make the work with blockchain unprofitable for simple users and developers. And it is very important to solve such problem because now commissions in the blockchain of Bitcoin are smaller then in the Ethereum blockchain.
You are right, The problem of high transaction fees is a challenge facing Ethereum. During an up market, Ethereum can grow faster than Bitcoin, However, efforts are being made to overcome this problem through the development of Ethereum 2.0. With these solutions, it is hoped that transaction fees on Ethereum can be reduced, making them more efficient and more attractive to both users and developers.

The matter is that the more popular blockchain Ethereum becomes the higher are the transaction costs. Sometimes the fees can reach 100$ per transaction. And who will make the transactions on Ethereum blockchain if each transaction costs 100$?

Both of high trusted currency even they have lot of chance for growth in the coming days. Durning the market situation very bad for altcoins but btc and eth both have good position. Most of people holding into them btc and eth even long time holders huge. In my opinion they have significant future for growth so you can bought now.
well, both have the same potential. if we look at the development of the prices of these two coins from year to year, the development of these two coins is almost the same. however, sometimes the price increase starts with bitcoin, then ethereum will follow.
If you are interested in investing in one of them, then choose what suits your abilities. Personally, I've focused on ethereum, and that has given me a huge advantage. for now, I'm trying to refocus on collecting ethereum but at the same time starting to collect bitcoin with long term investment goals.

Both are pretty close to each other and there is no reason to compare the two together. I hope that people will realize that they are pretty good and they will keep on investing into these things together. I wouldn't say one is better and the other is bad, I think even if one is better than the other in both cases they are very good.

It doesn't matter if you invest into just one of them or neither of them because they are doing pretty well in the end. I like the fact that it is going to be pretty special in the end when we see bitcoin and ethereum going high together. That's when the big bull run starts, like 2017 and 2021 for example, and you see these reaching to a point where no other coin could ever reach anytime soon, they are going like 2 bull runs ahead of everyone close.

If you ask me, I would say that mostly you will get the same answer that people are holding onto, whether it's about Bitcoin or Ethereum. An honest opinion would be to decide for yourself based on the market trend and demand. In my opinion, both Bitcoin and Ethereum have bright future growth. If I were in your place, I would buy or hold them in a 50-50 ratio.
many have advised to put more in bitcoin which makes more sense considering big share of portfolio should be all about managing risks and then seeing more volatile coins after that.
but in this case i think splitting equally would do, they both just promising.

As a possibility of future growth both have good possibilities as an investment/safe haven i would opt for bitcoin but not for a growth factor but for its independence and duration over time, the future of eth is uncertain

BTC is definitely good if you have the capital to invest and it's not some measly capital i'd say.
meanwhile ethereum since its price for each ethereum is definitely lower than bitcoin, I think we could safely say that ethereum will give much more returns in the long runs.
Ethereum price might be lower but its supply is also infinite with a yearly cap. It might be good in the short term which is the case but not so in long term. For long term bitcoin with a limited total supply is better to flex your holding in front of a no-coiner. I do think they have any intention of changing this so profit while you can but keep only a limited part of your folio to ethereum.

For growth both have been performing well. Development wise it seems as though ethereum goes through a stall phase at times but truly bitcoin has covered most of the problems that fiat could not, so why bother?

Both Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin (BTC) are popular cryptocurrencies with different use cases and potential for growth. Bitcoin is the first and most well-known cryptocurrency, often referred to as digital gold. Its main use case is as a store of value or a hedge against inflation. Bitcoin's supply is limited, with only 21 million coins to ever exist, which creates scarcity and can drive up its value over time. Bitcoin transaction speed and scalability are limited, which can hinder its adoption as a means of payment. Ethereum, on the other hand is a blockchain platform that enables developers to build decentralized applications and smart contracts. Its native cryptocurrency, Ehter (ETH) is used to pay for transaction on the Ethereum network. Ethereum's  potential growth lies in its ability to disrupt various industries by enabling the creation of decentralized applications that can function autonomously without intermediaries. Ethereum scalability issues are being addressed with the transition to Ethereum2.0 which will improve transaction speed and reduce fees. Bitcoin and Ethereum have unique strengths and potential growth.

as many have stated future growth potential equally as good but there are certainly some factors there to determine whether it's gonna be good investment for you.
after all one of the factors is capital in which gonna affect greatly what you gonna get in the future.
but it's also worth noting that with ethereum you might also follow some of the lesser coin presale in which you can also gather some additional profits.
as far as I know some of these coins have really good rate of giving massive returns just within short amount of time and if you got ethereum in your posession big fat chance you could also follow their presale but they are also hard to participate in since their project will definitely have massive demands at the end of the day.
