I guess it will just depend if the market enters a new bull run this year or not... some people think the market should behave like it did on the last bull run and start on the same month. I believe the bull run will only come when all the desperate people have sold their coins or when fresh huge investment enters crypto world

i think that's to much progress mate until year end especially when it comes ETH because eth nowadays are very low, which is there is a possibility only unless if whales manipulate the price rapidly back to the estimated margin for the year end. And by the way for me in my personal opinion it's very late now honestly to reach that prediction which is probably $400 for ETH is enough and $9000 for bitcoin before year end like what other predictions as well. 
It is not impossible. I would say $800 for ETH at the end of this year would be still not bad. Today, the Bitcoin price increase is very impressive.

Yes, 2019 is far though I think we should be more focused on where it will be by the end of this this year than by the end of next year. If we can see some growth by the beginning of 2019 which is quite scary to think about for multiple reasons, one being that begining of the year is generally not that great for crypto. I think we can see where it will go in November by mid august 2019 as it will give us an idea of what to expect. currently it's difficult to tell.
I am being realistic now, it is not impossible but it will be tough, what do you think people that bought Ethereum when the price was $300, $500, and above would do first when the realsie the price hit those price range first, they will start selling their tokens, the selling pressure would be high and would mak it difficult to make that happen, for me we need confidence to return to the market, people were confident in these Altcoins and the price started moving up we need that again

This market is full of surprise due to its volatility so it is possible to hit that price again before this year ends. But always trade with caution cause everything is unpredictable right now, we can have a bullrun or not or maybe this bear market will last until next year, who knows. I hope so. But even we keep on saying this but there's no additional market cap its unlikely. Even most of us do really wanted to see this sad to say that it won't happen until something good comes along to make people invest more to ETH and to bitcoin too. You are speculating but do you have any reasonable and interesting analysis for that?
I think that to specify a value is not possible because crypto is very unpredictable and high volatility currencies some time with a bad news the whole market shrink, So Ethereum can hit $1000 by the end of this year it is possible that again ETH rise up to $600 or more.

there is no fundamental reason that ethereum can reach $1000 by the end of the year. look at ethereum at the moment, unstable and unable to recover itself, even reaching $500 is impossible for eth. do not expect too much, because in the end it will make you disappointed.
Eth would have been continuously trading at $1000/coin if our investor's community hadn't choose altcoins.

Expectation are kept increasing in the market because last year we have seen same things to till date. This month or next month ETH development will start releasing their software in the market which will help to increase the stability in the market. I hope it is impossible to cross the value of 1000$ but surely the price will cross more than 500$.

Yep, 2019 will be a different cryptomarket. That time we will see bitcoin on a good run and people are coming in cryptomarket, ETH can go higher than $1000 but I think $15K is too much for just a short time, maybe this one will happen in the next 5years. Jump to:
