The hard fork for Ether, Byzantium – the first leg in the update – will occur at block 4,370,000, or roughly Oct. 16, which is tomorrow. How do you think it will affect ETH prices?
It seems that they already have a bug, patched it but I don't know.
So, how do you think ETH will be price wise tomorrow?

This one passed very quietly. I was expecting some price fluctuation at least. But it passed like nothing happens.

Any ideas should we expect something more?

This was just the first of several upgrades and one of the more minor ones at that. The next few forks will hopefully have more of an impact reflection in the prices. On top of this, way too much attention is currently no the bitcoin gold fork, so many announcements/upgrades are being overshadowed. Many people are expecting some of the BTC money to go into ETH after the gold fork.

Also, there is a major conference during the first week of November which should give ETH some more attention in the very near future.

I have just seen an unusual huge buy order of ETH from GDAX at 0.049999 .. Lets see if my buy order will get lick at 0.050. Yup true after the BTC hardfork money will start to flow in ETH, LTC.

Agree on what you have said here. This fork doesnt really give any impact at all.Price did still able into a stable state which theres no a  pump have been found but the thing i do observe is the transactions are now even faster compared on before fork.Which in every transactions i do make even putting 2 gwei or minimal gas do confirm faster than before i dont know for some but this is the thing i do observe.
If you are talking about the fork gives any impact to the ethereum price and it's not. Because the only update that gives a lot of the value to the ethereum itself only the pos fork. I meant about the casper pos. To implement the ethereum into the fixed supply and eliminate the inflation seems to be a big deal to the ethereum itself and about how ethereum try to keep the decentralized.

Yeah, but they postponed the POS hark fork for somewhere in future without any specific info.
IMO Ether is not moving good right now.

BTC will keep rising until and shortly after the fork. Then everybody with their new big profits will start investing in alt coins. ETH being the second best will skyrocket its price.

It's too early to talk about a hard plug, but I really want this promising coin to become very popular, if it rises to 500 I will be very glad about it. Sam invested in it, believing that a very promising venture, while of course this is not.

for long term hodl, the value of ETH will increase steadily unless there is a crash in the whole crypto market. now, everyone focus is on BTC which makes it highly unstable and easily affected by btc value fluctuation.
Well, lets hope so, because I have been eyeing the eth price, I could not bring myself to sell the portion i bought at 305. Now its at that same price, but I will wait until the btc hard fork.
Do you guys think its price will increase after the fork when people sell their btc and buy alts?
Or will it move alongside btc and drop in the price?

Thqt can be a result of previous eth correction,to maximize it's services to make it faster andore convenient, that a good if it's working for beeter.

well eth is just falling and falling, I am about to dump my eths

I think price would increase after the fork will happen cause most of the time that what happens to btc
Definitely I have no idea regarding with that, but in my point of view. Since bitcoin gold is launch after segwit it means additional altcoins will appeared, so I think ethereum was trigger to increase up and the bitcoin value was fall down.
Eth lately has decrease the price so I think it started to decrease the value because of the upcoming hard fork. I think ethereum will be increasing when you notice these past days price is dump, so there will be a rise of price happening soon.

It was not as I expected it to, the price has almost not increased but it has dropped. Everyone is waiting for better than Ethereum and it is constantly retreating. Why is this happening? It is very sad that the Byzantine name update does not make any use of it.

ETH should rise after its and Bitcoin's forks and FUD is out of the way.
Ethereum will be having a good pump after the bitcoin hard fork. Because usually when there is hard fork users buy bitcoin to have a bitcoin gold, so the price will recover after the hard fork.
