This issue is known among newbies, they are usually confused with their complex design but you need to understand their procedure carefully.
Etherdelta is one of the safest ERC20 tokens exchange ever, when you see transfers from your ether wallet to etherdelta, that means your assets are in etherdelta wallet. Whenever your tokens are sold on etherdelta, the received ether balance doesn't automatically show into your ether wallet, it remains inside etherdelta and you need to transfer them manually from etherdelta to your personal ether wallet

Just my experience with EtherDelta in last two days - transactions are passing by even 2 gas price with actual cost of 5-8 cents.

Have you ever clicked those help links on Etherdelta site on how you would deposit your coins into the exchange?Its impossible for deposit not to go through as long you do have the sufficient gas on making transfers.
I do actually understand your situation which when you are a newbie its really hard to engage on etherdelta when you are still a newbie specially if you dont know how etherium fees works too. Just read up the basics since its being putted on their to help you out.I dont have any problems in the site.

Transfer completed successfully. It shows on transaction details, but etherdelta account show 0.

on etherdelta you have to move balance from the 'wallet' address to the 'etherdelta' otherwise your balance will still be zero after you send eth or tokens there

the option to do it on upper left of display.

yes I agree, you should see some tutorial videos on youtube to be more clear how to use ehterdelta correctly, because for new users etherdelata looks difficult, but if it is used will be easy to use, and do not forget to raise the cost of GAS to quickly your transaction

Seeing youtube video tutorials would really be a great help specially on this exchange its not totally a userfriendly if you cant able to read up the instructions on how to do it. Setting up more gas will really give you faster confirmations but would depend on your needs and preference if you are on a rush or not. 2 gwei for me is already sufficient since im not really at rush at all.

As far as I know, you have to select that specific coin from the top token menu. It will then show you the balance of that token. Etherdelta is a popular site, it won't eat away your tokens! But yes, as with most decentralized applications, their support is not great.

ether delta only in December get trouble. I think this month is Black. Etherdelta will clear if MyEtherwallet also clear likes before. So many transaction pending because of trouble in MEW just this month. So expensive transaction in every transaction. I believe in 2018 will back normally all transaction as well as in MEW and etherdelta. Amin.

When we are still a newbie on this exchange we would really have a hard time on using it on first time.It isn't really noob friendly and it is really technical and cant be understand this is why I decide to read up their instruction together with youtube vidoes on how to use the site and later on I did able to understand on how to use it which I do find out its really an easy thing.It is just hard on the very first time but if you did already get the idea then it would be piece a cake. Setting out sufficient gas is recommended if you do like fast confirmation of orders.

etherdelta is a decentralized exchange, but for its use and its system is very difficult to understand. I was quite difficult to trade and some days I am very difficult to make a deposit or withdraw.

Not able to help without much information. EtherDelta works if you know what you're doing. My guess is you sent your tokens to the wrong wallet which is bad news, unfortunately.

An image of your transaction would be a big help in solving your problem. Maybe OP send directly the coin to the address provided by etherdelta and did not use the deposit tab or maybe there is another problem. At first, I am also confuse how to trade in etherdelta but then there's youtube that's why it is easy to navigate the site if the instructions are followed properly. Just always be careful when you input the amount because sometimes the difference of one zero is all it takes for you to lose your money in that exchange.

How many transactions you go through? (there is 2 transaction needed, 1 for the smart contract of your token and 1 for the EtherDelta's address)

Yah it's true that the higher the gas fee the faster the transaction. This seting of gas fee to high gives you a high priority to be transacted.

You can't see any balance on your etherdelta because you're coin doesn't sold yet. Maybe it's because you doesn't sell it yet or maybe its just in there.
Just set/change the token on your etherdelta to the specific token that you are finding and from there you can see the token that you are finding.
