Etherdelta are struggling with issues from two weeks and aren't reacting at all.

Today Coinmarketcap.com changes EtherDelta with ForkDelta in their Market list tab. This will cost EtherDelta most of the remaining traffic.

What do you think? Is ED dead now or they will recover eventually?

both exchanges are very risky to use as trade. I think nowadays EtherDelta and ForkDelta have greatly reduced users.
I don't see any new developments for progress and make traders comfortable and trusting.
I prefer to hold alt alt rather than having to trade in both exchanges
Of course, coins today are best kept for quite a long time, until the cryptocurrency market recovers again and shows good results.  But nevertheless, if traders use not only rating trading platforms, but also such exchangers as EtherDelta, I would like to talk about the reliability or danger of such a resource.  It is better to know more about this situation information.

I haven't used Etherdelta since Forkdelta came along. Now, I'm not interested in tokens, so Forkdelta not in use. I advise you to pay attention only to the coins with the original blockchain, interesting technology, new features. That is, promising projects should be necessary for users. But tokens have always been just unnecessary fun or tools for scammers who collected millions of dollars and ran away. Therefore, all these ether/forkdelta and other exchanges for tokens are dinosaurs from the past and will soon become extinct. Although this is my subjective opinion, and maybe I'm wrong.

I can understand what you mean somehow after we saw all these useless tokens that were created during the ICO-hype. But this would also mean that Ethereum will become obsolete. Do you really think that? I think tokenization is just starting. Just look what potential security tokens might have (even though these probably won't be tradeable on Etherdelta/Forkdelta).

I meant that utility tokens were not so necessary. Basically their role was to be a speculation tool or a tool for ICO scams. Security tokens are something else. They are somewhat similar to shares. At least they have real value. But on forkdelta, 90% of tokens are junk. And by the way, the functioning of this exchange loads the ethereum network with these useless transactions of unnecessary tokens.

I get what you mean. There are dozens of utility tokens with no real purpose around but for me that doesn't mean that utility tokens are useless per se. And I also think we need exchanges like Ether- or Forkdelta where people can safely trade tokens without the tokens having to go through a long (and expensive) listing proccess on other exchanges.

At this time Forkdelta I see the volume is greater than etherdelta because it is possible that the trust of etherdelta has been lost due to many problems
and also the theft of assets in the exchange

I haven't used Etherdelta for a long time, for dex trade i am prefer to use IDEX its more easy and fast for make transaction.
Same here, etheredelta is really sucks and always loading and so slow to load. I prefer IDEX for DEX exchange but forkdelta is better than etherdelta. I heard Binance released their DEX exchange, so let's see if it will be a good one or not, if it's really good then all dex exchanges user will move to binance.

isn't the forkdelta a substitute for etherdelta (same user interface, only different domains)?
yes, I thought it was a clone of ED. FD looks lighter I think, because I last accessed ED it felt very heavy. they must develop and update the system so that it is in accordance with the market's wishes.

They are both using the same smart contract, so you could technically say that Forkdelta is a clone of Etherdelta. Forkdelta was meant to be an improvement over Etherdelta that, for example, processes orders much faster and uses a reworked API.

I traded on etherdelta the other day. Too lagging. I can't post my sell orders. And there seems to be no active trade there now. So sad because it used to be a great exchange.

etherdelta is an exchange that was popular in its era for airdrop hunter, unfortunately they always put projects illegally in exchange for them. many projects are listed on Ethereal without being known by the dev project so this causes the price of the project token to fall and can be purchased cheaply from ICO and presale prices. this may be one of the failures of the ICO project but also etherdelta has changed with the new one, namely forkdelta and still with the same problem, they are not permitting or cooperating with the project so the tokens can be traded before the project releases an official exchange.

I have not used EtherDelta for a long time, because it takes a long time to load. But I do not know what the differences between EtherDelta, ForkDelta, IDEX and other decentralized exchanges are in terms of security. In any case, I prefer not to take risks and do not give my private key to these exchanges, I trade only using spare wallets.

Idex is just an trading market that had issue about the volume. I still prefer Etherdelta back in the old days and now forkdelta because you can actually sell right now via p2p trading technique and also it is more safe to trade in there for me.
somehow, as much as possible I will not sell my assets there. indeed, some of the assets of most bounties that have no value are there. if it's not too important I will avoid etherdelta, forkdelta, and idex. if there are other better exchanges with greater volume or better trust, why should you choose them.

Indeed etherdelta mostly holds a lot of altcoins, so that every transaction is rather slow, it must be fast to start reducing altcoins that rarely transact or move some to the forkdelta. because I think between etherdelta and forkdelta is the same. but I rarely use etherdelta now, so I do not know whether it is still going well, but if I see etherdelta it is still there and there are improvements.

Its already dead some of traders who use that exchange are using now forkdelta, but I think it's not really recommended to use I feel that using that kind of exchange is not really secured. Much better to use exchange that have strong security that no one can steal your coins.
