Maybe it could happen or maybe not. Etherium has not reach its peek now however Etherium price is more than 1k USD so I think it should be around 2k USD before 2018 ends. It's not impossible to happen because Etherium is the ranked 2 coins before BTC. We should just a little longer to find out.
Possible, the bearish market just needs to ease up a little bit to restore confidence. And once FOMO sets in, ETH would make quantum leaps in value.

Possibly before year end but $1500 is somewhat more realistic than $2000. The rise of ethereum price is seem to be tied with price of bitcoin. Whenever the price of the bitcoin rise, it followed by ethereum price uptrend. Ethereum price should go up independently from bitcoin so it can be able to achieve its own all-time highs in the future.
With ETH's smart contract technology and great potential in the future, I hope ethereum will do this, and I believe in the future ethereum will grow strongly and have a very high price, so Right now I start to buy ethereum and keep it long.
It is hard to be realistic now because if the ETH exchange rate goes up to $ 2,000 within two months, the ETH exchange rate must always increase rather than decrease. But it is impossible to market volatility as today. So the next 2 months, ETH can only increase to $ 1000.

I don't think so it will become $2k in value in just two months because of the current bearish market. Day traders also affect a lot and yet the current situation isn't accurately match as what people been predicting of. However eth price will remain that stable until it reach at $1k for the next few weeks of roller coaster behaviour as part of the volatility.

In two months ,in my opinion i don't think will be 2k ,maybe will be on the Q4 2018.
Ethereum is a little slow than many other crypto coins that comes in its league., though it has remained at the top of altcoins from the start and the biggest rival of bitcoin, still it is nowhere near to growing that much. Ethereum is a trustworthy coin but not fast at all. It will take a lot of time before touching 2k dollars. But this is for sure that Ethereum can not only touch this amount but go beyond it also.Ethereum is not slow, ethereum has extremely high load. You can think others are faster now, but other have never experienced such great network load. When they have such great load, they will fail for sure. You will see. Here two thousand dollars is a realistic price target.
