It has crossed almost three months from the time you created this thread. ETH value just crossed $500. As like other altcoins, ETH value was in red for past three months. ETH has promissed to have threefold growth in value down the line. So we can expect so said $2K by end of December 2018. May or may not happen. But I am sure ETH may cross $1000K this year end. Hope their small contracts lead Ether value to hit minimum $1000 this year. Lets watch.

ETH has good fundamental news in next month special "pos" system and it's launching so it can reach into 3000$ but i think in next month we can see ETH on 800-1000$ and that is soon to reach 2000$.

I am sure you have already gotten the answer after 2 months as we stand in the month of April! The rates actually dropped dramatically for the ETH after the month of Jan and many of you might think that its bad thing to happen. But I dont think so that it is bad because this is cyclic pattern from the ETH and almost all the top coins. They always drop in the first quarter as most of the investments are sold for the purpose of financial year end filings. Apart from this we are already slammed by many FUD's since three months and thus making the market situation drop day by day. I am not saying that 2k rates will be applied to the ETH in next two months but I am sure that there will be such rates per ETH soon as we proceed towards the mid year period. Most of the markets are filled with the buy orders but they will vacate and put more buy orders sooner than we think and it will slowly push the market ahead of everything.
In 2 months, it is very difficult to get that bull raise. However, in the long term if Ethereum finds proper solution to scalability and speed, it could go much further - more than 2K hopefully

I don't expect ETH to reach $2k in a month. But we xan see this price range by the year end. Since, the supply is undefined, it is highly unlikely for ETH to go up a lot. But $2k is still an achievable level. ETH has usecase hence it won't abandon. Its demand will always be there. Since, the phase was bear, ICO weren't doing good and thus, ETH too suffered hugely and went down upto 1/3rd of its peak. But now the recovery started and is expected to continue more.

Now it is unachievable , but in following year it is a good goal. Many things can be changed for a year. I hope I am right. Will be back in this thread in 1 year, maybe my prediction is correct
Yeah ofcourse if long term more than $2000 I guess but who know right? Bullrun is getting started maybe this few days upcoming will happen a big pump on ETH or dump, all we have to do is to be patient. Goodluck everyone.
