Got up this morning, switched on my computer, checked the markets and saw that nice dump. To be honest I expected it to see a bit earlier. But now here we go.

I think that the fair price of ETH is somewhere below Counterparty based on technology and usability.
Only thing that keeps the price high is speculation and hype.

Even google images on phrase "ethereum wallet" shows NXT.

The answer is : yes, slow death of inflation with occasional false bull-breakouts is coming now. We have seen this so many times now, it's clear as day.

And if you thought ETH would be real competition to BTC you'll probably also buy into every other scam  that claims to eclipse BTC. Basically any serious altcoin needs to claim to eclipse BTC and most actually do. If you believe it because a stranger on a forum said so you need to scale down your investement activities because you're not going to make any money here.

Ethereum is whats called a "gamed coin" the group that brought 90% of the ICO will always dictate the price no matter what.
There holding never gets less because they know when the dump is on and know when to restock and make nice money in the process.

The dump will continue and I expect it to be bigger than the first dump we have seen after launch. The pump between this 8 days was pure manipulation to get on board some noobs and then to unload even more ICO shares. The same scheme as usual.

True. But its possible they make another wave. Not that big like the first but its possible. I don't bet for an uptrend, but if it will happen I will short again.  Smiley

yes ICO investors and users who bought ether at cheap price started selling their holdings, that why price is dropping
for me it looks like the hype was artificial, a planned pump. it will stable at a responsible price

presale: 0.5 bitcoin = 1000 eth
now: 6 bitcoin =1000 eth

I like the ground.

That's very good profit for 1.5 years. Sell now and take the profit before whales dump all their ethers.
Dont think the whales will dump large chunks at once, they want to get as much $$$ out of it as possible.
The idea is to milk the cow as long as she gives good amount of milk once that stops take it to the place ever $cow ends up at.

Yeah, I think the same. All I wanted to say is don't be a bagholder when big players dump their ethers. Don't fall in love with the coin. Sell when you have profit.

I don't get why people (interested in crypto) always hope that cryptothings get worse..

Don't even bother trying to understand...youll just get a headache Grin

As hard as it is, I'm holding. I've panic sold too many times. If me holding turns out to be a bad decision, well, it's a loss I can afford Wink

there is alot of schadenfreude around here, the sad thing is there is enough money in the world for both Bitcoin, ETH and a whole lot of alts to be worth alot more and function together but everyone is in this "us against them" mentality.

That happens when 4chan meets wallstreet  Grin

Its an toxic environment but its very entertaining.

Just have a look at all that twitter bitching by crypto traders. Real forex/ commodities/ stock traders would never waste their time with that. Crypto traders also claiming they are the best when they are trading forex and proceed bitching around to traders from other markets  Cheesy
