The whole competition between ethereum and ripple is that their capitalization is very close to each other. But nevertheless, I believe that more sympathy is still in ethereum, and they throw their money into ripples in order to minimize the risks from price fluctuations in the cryptocurrency market.

Its just an indication that both Ethereum and XRP are good coins that even them battling for second place along side with bitcoin. To invest into either of the two can give you profit and thats a good point.
I still couldn't find a difference between those two currencies value in the past year because Bitcoin still dominate in his highest level. And I think they may take more time to make their value increase this coming months to get a further amount of investors to invest with their platform.
I know it is slow and still it will have to wait for long term to be higher as long ago it was, in this age we will have to keep patience because crypto market not only ETH but many other coins are down try to take it as an advantage and buy at low price, very soon pump will fully appear in market and this time it will not take long time to fully recover.That's the point there are countless coins and tokens competing for our money and the situation is quite different from 2016.

Ethereum is back in number two, it has been going on a few weeks ago. This turned out to have a positive impact because the price of Ethereum is able to pump. If Ethereum can grow steadily, I don't think there will be any more opportunities for XRP to pass Ethereum.
yes ethereum has proven its identity again and the fact has returned to second place on marcetcap. I like this altcoin because it has a good investment prospect besides the platform is already familiar in a number of ico projects, this altcoin is indeed suitable for long-term investment too.

That because ripple supply are billions and it keep growing everyday. while ethereum was just limited 100m so far and it much more useful than ripple in my personal tough. Ripple was backed by bank and it was pretty awesome but i really dont like their supply. it was billions of supply and i dont see how ripple price will increase in the future if the supply in the market keep increase. unlike ethereum im very sure the price will growing in the future and i will keep on supporting ethereum as they one of my favorite coin in the market.

Ethereum is able to reverse the ranking conditions on CMC when there is Hardfork news that will happen to Ethereum so that the volume on Ethereum increases and of course will beat the volume that occurs on the XRP so that it can shift but if one day there is big news back on XRP, it is very easy Ethereum so that we can prepare ourselves to make decisions if that happens.

Ethereum is a strong altcoin and deserves to be back in second place. Trust and support make it move positively lately. Crypto always surprises, but I'm sure ETH will be able to survive because most projects run using the ETH platform.
Ye, Ethereum is back in Number 2 but I just feel this year we are likely to see another majr dominant project displace Ethereum from Number 2 position. Ethereum to me is over prices so is Ripple and do not deserve those top position in the rank, people should not rule out BNB token, the fundamentals is solid and sound
If the ETH had not experienced a big price fall in the last time, the second place would too far from ripple. Also, it was the innovation in ripple in that time interval, and as the prices decreased, it went up.

I know right. It kinda feel at ease when Ethereum cameback for being a stable altcoin . Maybe the time is near that it will start to pump again.
