Ethereum still has a lot of potential investment-wise compared to bitcoin. It just reached 300$ right now and is still going up while bitcoin's price right now are either just playing at around 4k-4.5k. Don't get discourage by the forks that happened these past months, it is a good alt all in all.
Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.
At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.
Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).
So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

I think ethereum is one of those coins which are sure to grow in future as it is one of the most popular crypto currency available in the market right now. I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.
At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.
Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).
So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

It has a really strong development team.
I think the price of ethereum will cross the 1000$ mark within an year or so and investment in ethereum can help you earn high returns.
I see a lot of potential in Ether. ETH got really strong basics and still, there is a good opportunity in it. I don't know but I have more rigid trust on ETH, I feel ETH is still not at its right price, it is devalued. Actually, new investors don't know much about altcoins and know BITCOIN as only crypto-currency.
I believe in good future of ETH: ETH has strong and active community, great roadmap, relatively big trading volume. Even at current time it has platform with lots of advantages over other most popular coins. So it at least should be considered to hold.

Holding bitcoin and not holding ETH would be the worst decision.
ETH is still under-valued, we can see it being close to at least a half of bitcoin in coming years.

ETH has alot things that deserve superior than other altcoins. And in my opinion, Eth has potential to be more valuable in future. Diversifying investments in Eth is great idea.
when miners will be cut from ethereum ecosystem then I think we can see next long rally. Looking forward for metropolis implementation. Hold if you have.

my view is positive toward ethereum because reason is after btc only ethereum gave good and stable growth in market if we see future in crypto then ethereum will also set up good mail stone so my view we can invest
Been in Crypto for almost half a year, and I never own any ETH to be honest! Besides, some good ERC-20 token under Ethereum like PAY (Tenx), KNC (Kyber), BAT (Basic Attention Token), MTL (Metal), ZRX (0x Blockchain Exchange), SNT (Status Network Token), ADT (AdToken), NET (Nimiq); ---- the rest you can stay away!
These are all potential coins that are capable of running their own blockchain one day! Like QTUM, now on their own MAINNET and will no longer be ERC-20 token soon!

There is no better altcoin to trade than ethereum. Ethereum is just the prefect altcoin for I have almost never lost 90% of my trades while trading ethereum . If you are trading I strongly suggest you try it ether just has so many support and resistance which is good for traders. I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

Ethereum is good altcoin.i heard ethereum is the next generation bitcoin.So Why should I stay away.i like ETH very much.Already i brought many Eth.
Buy ETH, forget that you bought, remember it after long time, enjoy being rich. 
Agree, ethereum is my second coin, I'm sure this year's success will be repeated again in 2018, I noticed the ethereum has been used for more than 75 other coins, and of course the use of ethereum is getting bigger. 
In my opinion Ethereum is very good coin and great project and this altcoin can be bigger than Bitcoin in the future because their blockchain network used many other project who development star up and fintech.
