this year is not only the basis if the coin can succed or not because anything unexpected can still posible to happen. Can you picture the case of bitcoin? You know bitcoin had always started to go down every first quarter of every year but eventually the price of bitcoin do sky rocket after the last quarter of the year and it always happen every year ever since 2009 and so on. So probably this could also happen in the case of etherium because etherium do also have the same stats as bitcoin if we based on its price history.

Don't you think 19k USD is on the high side. The spotlight on cryptos are getting hotter and there's probably so much more yet to be unveiled to make crypto come under more scrutiny. But I think in the range of 3 to 5k is reasonable.

I agree. The strong coins are the Bitcoin Cash, ETH and Bitcoin.

If speaking of long term Ethereum fundamentally speaking was really good than Bitcoin especially their smart contracts we all know there are a lot if amazing ICOs out there that has been partnered with Ethereum because their technology was really good and their future projects was very amazing ETH is worth money for investment.

many things that affect the price of altcoin like ethereum, we can not continue to predict that ethereum will continue to rise, maybe five years ago with now the price of ethereum is very much different. but it can not be equated for 5 years

agree with all recent 7-8 posts on ether that it is a good coin and all icos mostly based on it .

but in crypto market 1 day = 1 month ,,, so if you say after 5 years this or that will happen , then it is totally illogical ..

bcoz market is changing rapidly , no i am not just talking of price ,, but also many new projects coming with lot of unique and competitive features .

so in 5 years we can see all new coins in top 10 , or ether may be rebranded .. anything possible .

ofcourse it will touch the highest price from now,because many project from ico uses this platform for their token,but sooner many of the ico will transfer in other platform as ethereum has no improvement,no updates happening for the last year.and if they dont do anything about this,well for sure this next five years will be the doomsday of the said coin.
