With projects such as Ethereum, I think that 1000$ is not final price for the next 5 years.
2022 is really difficult to predict.. hell even 2018 is difficult to predict. If you asked someone at the begin of 2017 when Ether was trading at 7-6$ what the price would have been at the end of the year, most people would have answered something like 18 dollars. Who would expect that the blockchain would take the masses by storm in such a short time. It was really crazy the rally that ETH went through, reaching to 350-370 is something that no one expected, and I'm sure no one will expect what the price will be in 2018, let alone is 2022.. that's so long and there are so many things that can happen by then, but I can ensure you that if the updates take place and Ethereum develops as expected with the same leadership of Vitalik, then we'll definitely see some astounding prices in a couple of years that will leave everyone in awe.
Is ethereum in a dip right now or back to its long term downtrend vs bitcoin?
I am new to BTC.I have knew that whole BTC is 21 million and ETH is unlimited.So considering price of both can ETH be Go high value like 0.5 BTC.Cant there be inflation ??

I have a very positive trust to eth when it comes to etherium price and for me it will be skyrocketed in 2022 maybe up to $1k-2k no doubt it will follow the steps of bitcoin in coming years.
I think in five years time we will see a drastic increase in the price of Ethereum. Today's average is around 300 dollars plus, but I am positive that will increase a demand for ETH increases. What ETH needs is more marketing to more companies that wants to use the blockchain.
It is so difficult to predict what can unfold in the next 5 years but I expect ethereum to be at least $1000, frankly it would not surprise me to see it reach a similar level to that of which bitcoin is currently at. If cryptos continue to be adopted ethereum unless replaced will continue to see massive growth.
$5000 is easy actually. The risk is big but the return can be big in ethereum if the development team can handle this task in improvement of the blockchain of ethereum.
I think the value of Etherum will increase over time. Etherum is very well accepted by the community, it has good technique. And in particular ICO projects are now running on the Etherum platform, which gives Etherum a solid foundation in the Crypto world.
I would like the blockchain technology will be much more developed and widely used in 5 years. If ethereum continue to improve 10-50x from current price is possible. However this is a big if. It is also likely a new project pop up and offer much more powerful tools than ethereum.

With the current trend of Ethereum, I see that it has a slow movement in terms of the value (going up/down). But I think that was a month or two ago ETH = $350 but as of the moment it is less than $300. In this case, if this will happen now and then, I can say that it can go up $500 in 5years but I hope that the value will go up to $1k.
Ethereum price can go much higher in next 5 years. Remember where ethereum was in beginning of this year, now price is pretty stable and I think we will see eth price rising again. Ethereum can cost a lot cause people needs eth use myetherwallet people will need eth to invest in some coins, I can't say how much people are really interested in new coins to use and keep them, mostly we just earn bitcoins from them, but this can determine future price of eth.I think we will see eth over 500$ next year, and maybe even 1000$ before the end of next year. 5 years is a long period of time and so many things can happen, I can't look so far in the future and make any predictions, that is guessing.It's very hard to predict things for 5 years, but it's not hard to guess that ETH will rise very up regions. Nobody knows what happan with the world itself in 5 years. But my prediction for ETH 2k $
may be $450
The really fascinating thing is to see what will happen to Ethereum once it hits POS (Casper). Once people understand that ETH can be used as a way to gain interest on invested funds, the value could go through the roof (if it'll survive all the hacks and bugs that are being discovered here and there till then).
I agree and that is why im expecting eth to end this year @ 1000 USD. in 5 years could be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars who knows.
