How come you reach for that conclusion for? and how did you estimate for the price would get for eth for this year? Since first of all ETH is the most used network for now and many people are holding their share on ETH community and this current situation is normally happens to a coins since it has flaws of been dump so I believe this current situation is best time for those eth stakers to buy since they can earn more with it if they hold and play on this coin.

It seems that I really agree with you.Decline in eth prices will happen soon, the risk of buying eth at the end of this week will be very significant, mingkin my suggestion for them to sell eth from now, because prediction states that eth price bids will soon happen, we better save our btc in altcoin other like xrp And next may not contain the risk of loss.

I think this is the reality that it will reach more than what you expect , because in my view the price of the ETH in two years in 400 times more than what was in the hear 2 year back . Here 100times+ price increase in the term of the ETH/BTC price and also due to increase inthe price of the Bitcoin ( 4 times more then stable price of last year ) .
Here I just invested about 0.05btc in ETH for one year because I am thinking that I will be able in the future to make 5btc at the end of the year because I am expecting the price of the ETH to rise about ten times than what is in the current time .
We'll all of this are my analysis and I told only prediction mine and my activity with the ETH , and it is the reality in the ETH that anything may happen at any point of time ( jump & dump usual thing in Bitcoin ) .

$1,000 is too much to be honest.
I'm in dilemma about in which coin worth investing more the cash/fiat, the dilemma is between bitcoin and ethereum, the exchange rates doesn't go always the same.
Sometimes is worth more investing in bitcoin (like today) when the price was increased for 5-6% but the ethereum price went down.

I would agree with you with that I see as Ethereum as 2nd best after Bitcoin, Ethereum has a good future ahead and many people are investing on it even myself. I'm also actually mining Eth at the moment because I see that there is a potential in this coin in the future, I also believe that many people believe on it and as you said it should hit $1000 by the end of the year like bitcoin this year it hit $2000. I personally don't think that investing in Ethereum is a good move at all, most people say that its a good move since now the value goes up more oftenly. We all don't know what influences the value but there is a high possibility that the ICOs which recently took place, especially the ones which are using Ethereum platform are the ones that influence the value. So investing in Ethereum might turn out to be your worst nightmare.

I also hope the same with you but the more advanced the development of ethereum technology the more we will bear the cost of the more expensive transaction also than usual, just like bitcoin. Yeah it is possible because ethereum is new bitcoin form and it is more easy. The ethereum would be new opportunity for people who missed bitcoin at the rate of cents and pennies. This is the era where people like me and you can regain that profit which other took while bitcoin was new born baby. :-)

just watched a video with a creator of the etherium, Vitalik Buterin. As he said they have no goal to make a big price, it is not only about money, they want to make this world better, but i would invest some money into this, i believe its a good product

I don't think that right now is a good time to go all in with ethereum. The fact that it's still close to its all time high adds extra risk for a hard correction is cryptocurrency markets stop being bullish.

I will wait till ETH will reach 10 000 than will probably by a house.
I can not see any other coin potentialy to reach 10k.

This can do only ETH and BTC.
But as I missed BTC train, ETH is my choice atm.

I think we will get 10k about 2020,maybe even earlier.

Ethereum is doing good because of lots of ICO based on ERC20 token and to exchange the token in marketplace again we need gas for transaction . Because of this ethereum gaining value . Be cautious about this ICO's.

It seems like nowadays the trend is directed towards wanting a centralized leader, which is very understandable when you see the problems bitcoin is facing with decentralization. The market doesn't think too much. It used to think that decentralization was the way to go, but then problems arose, so it switched to centralization. I wonder how long it can last. I don't own ETH. Still thinking it's too late to get in the train. I was already thinking the same 2 months ago, mind you. I kind of regret my previous stance regarding ETH (cenralized = bad) but I learnt a lot about market psychology, recently, so next time I'll try to put some perspective into my own stances. It's not like I haven't learnt my lesson.

In my opinion, the ether will not get much popularity as a platform for decentralized applications because of the huge volatility of all crypto-currencies. Think, 3 months ago 1ETH cost $ 20, now 20 times more expensive, this means that now to work in a decentralized application on ether, you need to spend 20 times more money. And further can be even more expensive. And imagine that someone will make a forum or social network on the ether, and in order for the user to show some kind of activity - to write a message or like a message, then he will have to pay for everything... This is insanity...

Investors beware you are investing in a alt, and alts look promising for quiet a while, before they go bust though Ethereum has done good choosing it over bitcoin is a big risk and in the end its price will drop then there will be complaints here, I would advise you to rethink of it and stick to Bitcoins and a small amount in ether, that also I am not keen to do personally, I like Bitcoins only.

the only thing that ethereum did good was to have its price increased! meaning profit for those who got in early. it is not doing good in any other aspect.
- it has a big premine of 70+ million which is 77% of current total supply
- it doesn't have any cap meaning it will keep on producing supply (more supply + less demand = price drop)
- it has a buggy code, it can easily be abused through smart contracts just like how DAO abused it.
- the cost of creating a smart contract is pretty high compared to other platforms. so a regular developer can not work with ethereum easily without spending a lot of money.
- the transaction costs (the fees) are rising and last time i checked they are $1.4 on average.

it is a terrible investment right now because it is in a bubble and if you read that link you can see what the risks ICOs are causing are. which means there is a much bigger risk of a big drop than there is any risk of rise.
it was certainly a very good investment before i even made a topic back when it was a good time to invest in it hint: price was 0.007-0.01BTC

as for which other altcoin, any other altcoin that has not been pumped has more potential of giving profit than this.
