I doubt that they convert their ethereum into bitcoin that's why eth is crawling, but at least the price is increasing even it's moving like a snail, well many people still believe the potential of eth.

two days after you posted it the price was 194.30 now it settled to $187, you just have to be more patient, Eth will go to the moon, that's for sure.

Bitcoin is always the first to show growth. I think when Bitcoin is in the correction stage, the Altcoins will start to grow. Ethereum is no exception. This coin has a great future. It is just a matter of time.

TBH it seems ethereum is only being used for its smart contracts which is initially it's purpose and people are using less for it for everyday use like paying for goods and services, so what's happening is other alts on the ethereum blockchain are benefiting from any of its progress and leaving it with scrubs to feed on. Those times of altcoins going up because bitcoin rose seem to be fading.
It is now more important that btc increase, others will follow it. Also, ethereum does not stay stable, it is close to $200 yesterday, but afterwards drop back. It will recover soon.

There is no need for that ethereum to increase its value if the price of bitcoin is doubled on that time,sometimes the price movement of ethereum will go inversely proportional to bitcoin's movement as well.If you are looking to invest on ethereum then you can invest on it because the price movement on ethereum will turns into busllish as well but it may need some more time when compared to bitcoin so we actually have more time to invest.
Ethereum is affected in the bitcoin pump this month that's why it is increasing I don't have any other news but I what I know about ethereum is it will rise up also because of its ability to support other tokens in the market. I am hoping for ethereum to increase on its own in the future and not depending on bitcoin's value.
