Eth has reached its max for this year. I don't see it going past 100 unless Bitcoin skyrockets to 10K. Then again who would have guessed that we would see Eth at 100 this early. I think the next big hurdle will be 200 and I think it will take a good year before we see that price. That level will only come if Eth can maintain its 100 dollar price and be stable around there.

$100/ETH more realistic than $1000, It takes a long time to reach a price between $ 100- $ 200, because any increase in Bitcoin price will greatly affect the price of Ethereum and also other altcoin prices, see at Poloniex today in the 20top coins get down.
Basically why not?
basically why?- it is centralized
- manipulated
- has a very gigantic supply
- has a lot of bugs and hard forks and has a high risk of split at any moment
- has a lot of scams associated with it.
- it gets pump and dumped a lot and people lost a lot of money in it, and that means they will give up trying and go away for good never looking back!

there are so many better platforms to code in than ethereum, and they are so much better and user friendly. go try them out sometime.
I would be happy to see the price of ETH to reach thousand dollars because i am wagging my bets with ETH and i will always keep 20 ETH for my gambling needs and i would sell the rest and that is how i maintain things and it was a good year for ETH holders as the price reached dream valuation.

There is nothing wrong with being optimistic as you are and its even essential for one to be. But the issue is that where we are today in terms of the price of ETH is not magic and didnt just happen but several factors are responsible which means that whatever that is being done by the developers which I am not sure you are part of should be continued and even at an increasing rate otherwise as ETH is moving forward, several alts ready to take its current place are equally queing behind.

You could be right. The thing is, Bitcoin actually serves no purpose other than as a digital currency, but etherium actually has some "things" to it. There are also lots of other projects built on etherium, which gives it some kind of stability and potential. So i wouldn't go as far as $1000 in the next months, because this would result in 70bil marketcap, which is 3 times higher than current Bitcoin market cap, but something like $200 could be achievable.
indeed, the DAPPs, one similar to Satoshi Dice caught my attention. more styles will come and that renders pure altcoin building platforms obsolete. just the Altcoin bull buying boom lost some speed, that hurts and ETH took a hit too

I think its price will down recently
Even if the prices of ethereum go down it will raise against to epeculatoinary level of $1,000 bitcoin has gone out of reach and in 2014 when its price was down to $10 many expect including professor bitcoin declared that bitcoin is death! Today bitcoin is trading above $1,800.
You can always speculate what the price would be,with bitcoin breaking all the records we know about crypto currency prices ,we could always speculate about the growth of other currencies ,whether they could reach even half of that valuation is still debatable ,unless and until the price crosses those values we never know what the future holds.
Maybe a difficult and indirect but hopefully it will come true because eth has a solid team 
ETH all new projects for the future will be much more powerful in the chain formation.

Theirs no doubt bitcoins still the king of all crypto but we can't erase the fact that eth is following its steps. Look whats happening unto it and seems eth got good rythm and maybe price of it will soar high although it need to spend more years to achieve what bitcoins got now atleast it is a good start for a crypto to belong on greatest hits right now and surely eth will get another breakthrough soon if the price will go up harder.
besides pure speculation what should the price drive to 200$? there is no usecase. i think its way more likely that we see 50$ than 200 so why is everyone still bullish?
While 1000$ may seem too much, there some room I guess for 200$. Talking in matter of dollars with the the Bitcoin price rise is easier, everything seems way more probable.

Lol i guess this will just remain as a dream or it can take many years. Eth has mostly the same background as bitxoin so if we take in that way it took bitcoin 4 years or maybe more to reach 1000$ from 100$. Maybe eth may take only 2 years as crypto currency are way more famous than back in the day.
Dont forget that bitcoin was the first one which entered a complete new world and faced a lot of difficulties which it had to pass by. So it figurally paved the way for all of the altcoins which are now developing a lot quicker and on a larger scale than bitcoin did
