No I don't consider that as crashing, the network is just congested but instead consider this as a hiccup because of ETH and ETH tokens continuous growth. There's nothing to worry as they are always on top of their game and fixing this kind of issues. There's also an announcement made by Richie for ETH tickets related in Bittrex.This sounds right-plus the network needed to see a test before an upgrade (which might come as a critical upgrade if too many kitties are sold).
