for 2018 ethereum will probably soar starting from the middle of the year, but just in case then invest in this coin for the long term it will be far more productive.

I would say etherium is pretty much strong right now.if you look the chart it pass the $1000 dollar mark.beside there are many ICO that based on etherium that really good.So the demand of etherium in the market are increasing but it can't compete with the bitcoin because bitcoin has much adaption than etherium.
So for Ethereum Prediction 2018, we can almost conclude that Ethereum has not been able to become a major competitor of Bitcoin in the matter of the value of save and exchange rate (as Asset). Fundamentally Ethereum is already guaranteed by several major factors, for example with the EEA (Enterprise Ethereum Alliance) group that has been formed with dozens of giant world companies incorporated in it such as Microsoft, Inter, and CME Group which recently joined.
I invested a small amount of Ethereum. Price movement upwards. Ethereum seems to make the waiters happy. A solid project will come to much better places.
Ethereum Price is unpredictable just like bitcoin. We see bitcoin price from January 2017 (700-800usd) to the end of 2017. It would be amazing if Ethereum price will be the same thing just what had happened to bitcoin last year. Comparing the marketcap and their price they look similar let's just wait ETH will rise and rise.
No matter how much we do not want the etherium to approach bitcoin in value, I think it's necessary to be realistic and understand that bitcoin is the prophet of the entire crypto currency and it will always be higher.

all the issues about the two said coins must be resolve first before we can make good speculation,since both of them are going thru lots of un solved issues.i am a supporter of this great coins,as they are both first in my porfolio but i want to make a proper stand on my outviews.
3.000-5.000$ is not a dream i think. if you can remember ethereum went crazy because of Bancor ico , it can be same with 2-3 good icos.
I also think that ethereum can very easily do x3-x5. I even think that this can happen in a month or three, because the crypto currency market is very unpredictable, everything is possible.

In the mid 2018, eth will be 2000. In the end of 2018 eth will be 2500 - 3000. I hope the price will rise slowly. If there is no more government regulation Issues, cryptos will be the most hunted investment platform. WHen share holders trade cryptocurrencies they will spend their cash in trading cryptos. It means there is high demand. I agree with you mate. Slower is better to make the market more healthy and not like before, it goes high very easy and normally dump very easy too. So this price moves is better than before. Hope it can reach what we expect.
I would say selling is right actually by the look of the advancement of this asset carefully . Not taking into account that is purely a simple approach based on the performance .

for 2018 i would be very happy if eth reaches 3/4k dollars, it's less that 5x from now, it's a reasonable targhet and i think he can make it!
About ethereum my prediction is probably it will reach $5k to $6k at the end of 2018. Because we are seeing that eth is growing daily and it's future is superb i think. So my opinion is eth should reach $5k to $6k at the end of this year 2018
The price of Ethereum is now almost $ 1,000. They are experiencing small drops, but I think they are temporary. Ethereum is a very strong project. I need to be patient.
I think ethereum is back to skyrocket like yesterday and maybe it will be 0.3 btc, now is time to gather a lot of eth to hold
