If you want to hold ETH, buy ETH now because the current price of ETH is still worth buying and ETH is one of the altcoins that is very worth investing in. When we talk about investment we don't talk about Christmas but the most important thing is the upcoming bullish.

The current price of ETH is above 2300 USD, and I don't think it will stop here. From the middle of this year to now, the spotlight seems to belong to Bitcoin, and all eyes and capital are pouring into Bitcoin. Still, in the near future, I think it will be the stage for ETH to explode, especially with the upcoming Cancun update.

If you are a holder, I don't think you will incur losses by holding ETH. Are you referring to future trading, or are you still holding ETH purchased at a high price in the previous cycle? If you are holding ETH regardless of the purchase price, I advise you to hold onto it. The upcoming trend suggests that reaching the 3500 USD mark for ETH is achievable.

I was even thinking it would not achieve that price of $2300, but to my greatest supprise I can see that it has met your expectation and even more. That is to say by the end of this Xmas it might hit $2700 because it's growing alongside BTC.

with current pace of growth reaching $3k is a piece of cake but reaching it at christmas is what I would doubt. after all there's not much time left but honestly it only requires on bullrun and then ethereum could easily reached $3k but speaking from past chart historical data I think the rise will be slowly but sure, but we still have news about the ethereum ETF as well, currently i think though the bullrun will be more focused on the bitcoin and any altcoin that are strongly related with bitcoin like ORDI, other than that we will be waiting for the altcoin season in the future.
moreover, the fact I also expecting ethereum demand to kept on increasing due to the presence of many new projects that requires staking Ethereum, it just simply a good bright future for ethereum.

If you have purchased Ethereum at a price at which you deemed it fit and it has fallen in price below your entry price, the question you need to ask your self is, what is my profit if I should sell now below the price I invested. You gain nothing, so it is best you hold on and observe, definitely there will be a pump in Ethereum as it's pump is closely associated with the growth of Bitcoin.

Assuming the price of Bitcoin before the festive season, can not be absolute correct but laying speculation is just hoping for the best to happen as everyone will love to see the better part of the market.

Yes holding bitcoin is a good decision and if you don't need money then hold until it gives you greater success, Christmas is near and hopefully price will rise but I think holding of Ethereum should be keep until halving because Bitcoin will hit the value of above 70k$ which will have positive influence on the Ethereum also.

Long term also requires patience but another thing is the amount of money which should not be used for another purpose because if a person has a lot of patience but taking out money from Ethereum become necessary for another aim then there is no role of patience here therefore choose Ethereum only when you can manage all the rules of crypto. As of this time it already exceeded your expectations. We’re just 17 days before Christmas and Ethereum is already up $2,300+, but I could be wrong if there’s a pullback that would happen anytime.

Before my Metamask ETH wallet got hacked, I bought Ethereum when it was still around $200 that time and it is one of my major altcoins. Could have been 11x for me! It was my mistake of not transferring it to my Ledger due to being very complacent. Thankfully my sister’s ETH is still here untouched, but she bought it at a price of $2,100 during the 2021 bull run.

I would gladly sell my profits and keep the capital if that’s the case when I am already happy with my gains.

If the momentum keeps going further for the bulls, I can see ETH’s price between $2,400 to $2,500 by the end of 2023.

If you are in profit, sell 50% of it. Christmas to Chinese new year is considered to be slow days for crypto trading. The market remains sideways or falls at this time.
As Ethereum has gained a good percentage and it could go through a correction. The price rise comes in waves and we might get chance to buy it back cheaper at later time.
Selling 50% and keeping the rest would save you from FOMO as well as loss. No one can guarantee the market movement, so its upto us to play safe.

That just it to be in a safer side.

Especially if you believe in the long-term potential of cryptocurrencies. So my advice would be to hold on to Ethereum. ethereum is good altcoin, so why worry about it? it's not random altcoin so must be it will increase in future no way to make lose in ethereum i think.

$2300 is extremely conservative. It only took a few hours to reach that price. After Bitcoin's rally took a pause some altcoins have started to pump. Ethereum is looking strong right now and I expect it will continue to be bullish for the remainder of the month. For Christmas I would say $2500 is a reasonable target.

Looking back on the previous years, Christmas and New Year has always bring bearish trend to the market, people are cashing out their investment to be prepared for holiday and vacation. So, if my portfolio is currently red, I usually wouldn't expect any green until at least february/march next year.
But all that being said, you might still get some hope because recently market show some positive trend, tho we never know when it will bounch back down, just don't get your hopes too high.

ETH is definitely good for long term investment has potential to reach new ATH, but an prediction for Christmas is something which is really difficult to predict. I would say as long as Bitcoin is trending high there wouldn't be any issues and if Bitcoin dips then there are chances of breaking the ETH's momentum as only some really bad news about ETH like some controversies or Bitcoin dump can pull the ETH down nothing else as of now.

I have invested into ETH when it was in single digit and have good profit and never been a loss in ETH because it hodled during bearish market.

well if you are in the bullish most of the time it'd just go up for majority of these coins anyway. so it depends on the trend itself but its true that we can't be 100% sure after all we all here already know how volatile the market can be and in any investment nobody have any idea what the future will have, whether the investment gonna go up or go down we will never have clue, even those so called expert analyst with sufficient data at their hands are still making mistake quite frequently so don't expect anyone without sufficient data to perform some kind of divination.
but i'm pretty confident with the ethereum price I think it wll eventually reach greater heights in the upcoming christmas quite contrary to the general belief that at the end of the year there will be some bearish because this time around its gonna be different.
