I am surprised that this thread is still active here in Bitcointalk. The 70 million figure which is being portrayed as Vitalik's coins were give out during the ICO process. The vast majority of the revenue from that process was used for the development of ETH.
Bitcoin is more important than Ehereum. This coin is just an instrument for an ICO while ETH network can't handle the traffic and still didn't limit the creation of erc20 tokens that cause scaling problem for ETH network. Vitalik must stop being greedy. Solve first scaling issue then remove parameters.
I do not agree. In the future, Ethereum may become much more important than Bitcoin due to the ability to create smart contracts. And Bitcoin has a very narrow application, it is only a means of payment.

That issue will be address, I am pretty sure ETH team are doing things to improve the network. It's not their fault that people love ETH platform for their project because they believe it's simple and easy to use, and this will lead to adoption
as it continues, don't get fooled by the whales trying to manipulate the price by bringing it down as once the solution is out, they'll be the
one to create hype for FOMO.

No one use ETH expect SCAMers and suicide investors
Not at all. Ethereum is the great and stable altcoin, and it is not scam in any of meanings of this work. Buterin even won World Technology Award for Ethereum project. I think buying ETH and keeping this crypto in wallets is profitable.
Ethereum is most definitely NOT a scam. Proven time and time again. No.2 in the cryptocurrency chart. End of!
Cryptocurrencies are one of the more lucrative targets of scammers. But then, I still believed that ethereum is not a scam. Why do many people tends to invest or have the guts to use it if it is a scam? Although there are lot of scammers spreading on the network, still ethereum rising up its value because of the increasing number of users. I am an avid believer of ethereum and I am optimistic towards its potentials.
Why it has to Scam when there are many people using it?
This is not just a good to hear but embarassing to everyone why people are still believing in this token and they knows how it works in crypto industry this still wanted for everyone because ethereum is one of the promising token next ti bitcoin...
Ethereum is a decentralized platform which allow you to build decentralized applications with using tokens as payment method. Ethereum provides a technology that is useful for a lot of application such as digital currency, electronic vote, etc. Like bitcoin, ethereum has value because a lot of people believe that it will be widly used in the future, and buy the cryptocurrency linked to it (ether) because its price will grow if more and more people buy it. This price comes from the trust people put in this technology, the belief that it is secure, and the assumption that it will be used more and more in the future.
I dont think its a scam because vitalik doesn't have lambo yet.
This is a very funny topic. The Ethereum is not a scam, and I don't understand why some people still believe it.
Ethereum can never be a scam because the investment in it is huge. And for crying out loud its No. 2 in CMC.
I don't see that this ethereum coin can turn out to be a scam. And not just this thread is making a good accusations but many more. As I have know, ethereum is a legit one. And the developer has been into public for long and if its a scam, surely the founder will exit now because of big money but has not.
But etherium network full of chaos for the moment with billion understandable ico, Buterin want to do something with this situation. maybe in the future will be added tax for creating ico on the etherium platform.

yes i agree. this the second biggest coin in crypto world. even so its scam like you mention still this is the best project ever that happen and change the world of cryptocurrency. and many ico thanks to their project so their can do the ico as good as this time.
How can you say that Ethereum is a scam when this coin is so beautiful that it second bitcoins legacy? Well probably you are just a FUDER that wanted eth to go down just to buy it from dip? Am I right?
In terms of coin crypto currency, ethereum was on the second place but in altcoins community this coin was on the top.
