For a class of Ethereum that is in the second rank of coinmarketcap, maybe in my opinion there is no need to change the POW to POS or vice versa.
With the number 2 ranking Ethereum, it only needs development so that it continues to be interested in by many people in cryptocurrency.

Hello, I know they are number 2 in position but they cannot stay in there without a new feature that will surely like by the community. Why do you think Vitalik even, thinking of this idea? If you read their new plan for their platform maybe you feel some goosebump about it. I like, and it will probably a good move if you think of the outcome later on.

Yeah, I am also very excited about that. So in these days when Ethereum is so cheap is the best time for buying more Ethers!
But I do not think that POS will be soon, they are talking about 2019-2020 Sad

ETH is very universal alt coin and it could be used almost everywhere in the crypto's world. Staking of this alt coin takes place on the crypto market so often that it has brought a lot of disagreements about this doing's profitability and vitality at all. I suppose that it will be in the future work too.

Eth will move better in the next few weeks.
once ETH move up it will be a good start and do know that it will happen too soon.
BTW, people are just waiting for a single development or announcement from it and im sure the rocket will start.

Do we have to use a 3rd party to stake? ARen't we just using the wallet that we can install to do that?

The casper I think was still being developed which is why its being postponed but it had been mentioned several times on their update. I'm sure the rest of us are aware of how to do it but the profit is what I'm concern of as security can be resolved easily.

I think from what I have read about this proof of stake development in Ethereum blockchain,they want to operate both consensus mechanism, that is Proof of work(POW) and proof of stake(POS), however they have to move fast because of other emerging killer technologies.

Not sure about that, you can see that whole of crypto go down a lot. and another copycat platform of ethereum has been doing the same like it. they are all getting down more and more. Another blockhalving will come but the dev core of ethereum still tested the casper pos and it needs more time to go.

Whatever they do they have to do soon, Seems like people are loosing faith in project as they are stalling upgrades and postponing year after year.

I think this will not be a good idea to use both methods. But eth needs to shift its consensus method from proof of work to proof of stake for the betterment of its security and processing system. A late in the shift of consensus can hamper the eth.

This is a good decesion. The best time of collecting coin is when its price is low like bear market conditions. ETH prices is under prediction. It has been said that 80% of Its price remaining. But wise prediction is very soon its price will increase. So i think it is the best time to collect/Buy ETH righ now.
